Cow’s It Going?

July 18, 2021

Hello friends and welcome back. I have a friend that is feeling a little down in the dumps so I though a lite hearted card might cheer her up. I made this card using Joset’s farm collection which is just adorable.

I cut two barns and joined them together at the top. The cut marks will be on the bottom section so I simply put some clear tape over them, once I add all the other elements to this panel they will not show.

Cut all the pieces that go on the front of the barn, gave them some dirty edges and attach to barn. On the finished card you will notice that some farm items and some hay were added.

Create three cows – I made mine three different colors just for fun because there are no two cows exactly the same.

Add cows and hay to the inside along with a greeting. Using the Life Is Better On The Farm stamp set, stamp Cow’s it going on black cardstock, emboss it in white and added to the card.

Thanks for joining me today and have a crafty week,

Sandy

Hee Haw! It’s Your Birthday

May 16, 2021

Hello friends, it’s Sandy Diller and I’m here to share an easel card that is packed full of fun and cuteness. This farm collection from Joset is just adorable and making these cute little critters is addictive.

This is fun and easy so let’s get started.

Since this is an easel card and I wanted it to be tall – I began with cardstock that was 12″ X 5″ then scored as shown above. To extend the bottom of the card and add some weight I added a panel that was 5″ X 7″.

I love making these adorable animals and have a few on hand. I used the Sheep, Cow, Donkey, Hen & Rooster and Pig on this card. The Cow and Donkey are sitting down on this card so I used the die shown with the arrow to achieve this look.

Since my animals are all piled up, I made the Barn taller by placing the cutting pad above the arrow as shown with the white line and leaving some extra paper on the bottom. After the barn was complete, it was glued along with the animals on a 5″ X 7″ white panel and then added to the easel card.

The hay panel was placed at the bottom edge of the card and folded just 1/2″ inch at the top to make the front panel stand up. Some altered hay stacks were added to the top edge. I used the Life is Better On The Farm stamp set to stamp the greeting and some extra chickens, you can never have too many chickens.

Enjoy your week and get creative,

Sandy
