Cardmaking Joset Designs

You are BEARY cute!

May 24, 2020

Hello! Welcome – Samantha here sharing with you this BEARY cute card! I couldn’t help myself – I do love a good pun card and this bear is super adorable!

Card Instructions:

Step 1: On white cardstock apply a thin layer of glue.

Step 2: Using old book paper, and assorted tissue paper colours, tear and adhere them to the white card.

Step 3: Continue to adhere, overlapping the paper until you are happy with the result.

Step 4: Trim the overlapping pieces of paper. Next, using a foam brush apply pink and yellow acrylic paint onto the card.

Step 5: Using the hexagon shaped stencil, apply a generous amount of white acrylic paint over the stencil, through to the card stock.

Step 6: Trim and adhere the mixed media card stock to fit a pink card front measuring: 10.5 x 15.5. (as shown below)

(Optional) Add machine stitched details.

Step 7: Using brown and kraft cardstock die cut the bear. Then using left over mixed media background card, black cardstock and yellow tissue paper die cut the bees 3x.

Step 8: Assemble the bear and bees as shown below. Stamp the sentiment on pink card stock, trim and adhere to the card front.

Step 9: Embellish assembled card with sequins and a twine bow. Adhere card front to an A6 card base.

Happy Crafting!
