Hi everyone! Here in Montreal, our first major storm has just been through, leaving us with a lovely blanket of snow. One of my daughters, although an adult, still gets excited at the thought of snowman building, so this card is for her. It combines my love of Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s CountryScapes with the Build a Snowman die set as well as her lovely Garden Notes – Whitepine Boughs and Pinecone and Garden Notes – Holiday Holly & Berries die sets. Silk Microfine Glitter adds the perfect sparkle to the snowman.
Hi everybody, Angela here with a guest blog post.
It’s hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of October. Thanksgiving has come and gone here in Canada and Halloween is just around the corner. But this weekend what is most striking is the colour of the leaves. It seems to me that this year they’ve lasted a little longer than usual, something about which I’m really happy. There may be a drive into the countryside in my very near future.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with Susan’s CountryScapes dies recently so today’s card is a fall scene created using several different sets: CountryScapes Flora 4, Woods 3, Build a Scarecrow, and Land and Sea, along with the Earth and Sky stencil.
Hello crafters! I’m Diane Prince and this is my first time as a Guest Designer for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I got inspired to do the following card by the wonderful surroundings of the little cottage we rented this summer. The pathways through the woods around the cottage have been landscaped by the religious community that owns the land. They have set up small areas with flowers, benches, bird houses, etc., where you can pray, meditate or simply relax. While walking my dog I came across one of those areas where there is a lovely wishing well filled with flowers and I knew right away that I needed to capture that scene in a card with some of the wonderful dies from Susan’s Garden. Here’s how I got to “Wishing You Well” –
Coloring Design Team Designer Challenge – April
April 18, 2017Hi everyone,
It’s the third Tuesday in April and that means it is time for the Coloring Design Team Designer Challenge.
Our challenge this month is “Inside and Out” – We often decorate the front of our card and do nothing on the inside of the card. For our challenge this month let’s decorate the inside to coordinate with the front.
For our Challenge today we are giving away a $20 gift card to use on our website to 3 winners.
To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post below and answer this question: What is your favorite or most-used sentiment when creating a card?
We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing.
The winners will be announced on Friday, April 21, here on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.
Now let’s take a look at the wonderful creations our talented Design Team have created for the Challenge this month. For more information about the cards, click on the designer’s name under each card to be taken to the designer’s blog post and will open up in a new window.
