Create a Tag #dbd Planner Page

December 13, 2022

Hi Crafty friends, Katie here with todays blog post! #Decemberdbd and today I am using Josets cute Critters to create this cute Planner Page for Day 6 called Create a Tag! So grab a coffee or some hot tea and lets get started,

Start by creating your Sleigh, Squirrel, Bunny, Wreath, Candy Cane and tree from you favorite card stock. I did use some gold card stock on my wreath and on the squirrels bell for his hat.

I used many sets from Josets collection and they are all listed below. After you have cut and assembled your critters, Ink the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Next, take your white paint and speckle your images before putting them onto your planner page.

Start by cutting your base page from Planner Essentials 7 ( I used the larger tag die) cut it from heavy white card stock. Next I ran my page through a 3D embossing folder this created a cool texture to my page. I added reinforcement rings and one for the tag hole at the top. I inked the edge of the tag with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Last step is to assemble your page and add your quote for Day 6 #decemberdbd “Create a Tag”

Monster pop-up tags!

July 13, 2022

Hello crafty friends, I am bringing in the Monsters both Christmas and Birthday for todays blog post!! These cute tags come with a bit of a twist as the Birthday Tag is a small Garbage Can pop-up card. I hope you enjoy todays post and lets get stared!

Step 1: Out of dark grey card stock cut 4 x 11 & score in half, cut your card by laying the garbage can die just above the fold line, then run it through your machine. Next out of light grey cardstock cut out your garbage can and lid, I also created a handle by re-cutting the lid from black cardstock then I trimmed the handle and adhered it the the light grey handle.

Step 2: Line the pop-up die along the score line of your garbage can card and run it through your machine to create the pop-out. See picture below.

Step 3: out of Josets cute Monster sets cut both creatures from red, orange and other coordinating cardstock. I inked all my edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and assembled. Next I cut out the balloon, stars, cake, birthday hat and party pieces ink and assembled.

Step 4: Create your card front by attaching all your creatures as per picture above using your favorite adhesive.

I added some glossy accents to the stars and the top of his Birthday hat.

Step 5: I added my cake, party favors and quote from the Monster Hugs stamp set to the inside of my pop-up tag. Last step is Speckling with a heavy body white paint and a fan brush*Optional*

To get a jump start on your Holiday creating, I just wanted to share with you another creative way to make your Holiday Tags or Garbage Can pop-up tag using different Christmas sets designed by Joset.

I hope you enjoyed todays blog post and brought a bit of creative inspiration to your day!! Take Care and happy crafting! >Katie<
