Hi friends, it’s Sandy hoping that your holiday season is merry & bright. Now that the big day has passed for another year it’s time to write those thank you notes. I have a fun, fast and easy way to do that with just two dies and one stamp.
Welcome – it’s Samantha, back again sharing one of my favourite ways to create with background stamps. I think background stamps are undervalued in my craft room. I have a rather large collection but hardly use them outside their main intended purpose as a background stamp. For today’s card I want to share a simple and effective way to create a focal point using a background stamp.

Be the Sunshine: Garden Notes Black-Eyed Susan
December 7, 2017Dear Friends,
Today I present to you a card that I just loved creating. The Black-Eyed Susan is such a special part of the Susan’s Garden collection, and like other flowers in the sunflower family it symbolizes radiant warmth and faith.
I thought that the sentiment, “Be the sunshine in someone’s rainy day,” was the perfect way to express my idea: Every person can be just like the sun shining on a sunflower, providing reassurance and emanating positive energy and strength, elevating a loved one’s mood.
Wet Stencil Technique, Do-It-Yourself Background
August 22, 2017Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here today from the Die Cut Design Team. By now you have seen many projects using the Distress Oxides on Soft Finish Cardstock. I have tried out many kinds of cardstock and none come close to the effect on SFC. I want to show you another technique combining Soft Finish Cardstock, Distress Oxides and stencils. Below you will find the steps to replicate this card.
Die Cut Cards with Distress Oxide Backgrounds
August 17, 2017Hello everybody, it´s Sanna here and it´s my turn to post a tutorial for the Die Cut Design Team today. If you know me, you know that I love color. I have been going up and down ever since the Distress Oxides arrived and told myself I don´t really need more inks. Well, eventually I gave in and got myself a set of six colors. Needless to say, I totally fell in love with the inks and I am afraid I am going to need a few more colors soon. The inks work so nicely with the Soft Finish Cardstock, too. (Am I finding excuses to buy a few more colors? Yes, I am…)
Leaves of Gold – Layout and Card by Riikka
August 6, 2017
Hello everyone! How are you? Can you believe it’s August already? Luckily it’s only the start so it still feels like summer, but autumn will soon be slowly creeping in. Not that I have a problem with that. I rather like the beginning of the autumn with the long, warm evenings and the golden light that makes the pine trees appear to be deep red. And the leaves, the colorful leaves that start to turn to red, orange, yellow and gold and then rustle under your step. A wonderful time!
This time I did a layout to celebrate autumn and a card using the same techniques. Add a dandle or two to turn it into a birthday card, or send it just to make someone’s day, no special occasion needed!
Let’s get started with the tutorial so you can make your own golden leaves to greet autumn!
