Hi everyone! Here in Montreal, our first major storm has just been through, leaving us with a lovely blanket of snow. One of my daughters, although an adult, still gets excited at the thought of snowman building, so this card is for her. It combines my love of Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s CountryScapes with the Build a Snowman die set as well as her lovely Garden Notes – Whitepine Boughs and Pinecone and Garden Notes – Holiday Holly & Berries die sets. Silk Microfine Glitter adds the perfect sparkle to the snowman.
Hi Everybody!
Angela here with today’s post. This is my last one as a member of the Susan’s Garden Design team so I’d like to take a minute to say thank you for your kind comments and “likes”. I’ve had a great time designing and sharing my cards with you!
For this post I decided to create a winter scene with Susan’s CountryScapes dies. They are so much fun to play with and the endless ways they can be combined will let your imagination come to life.
This card uses several die sets including English Cottage 2, Build a Snowman, Mountains, and Country Fence with the Snow Decor accessories. Add one of my favourite trees from The Woods set and a scene is born!
Hello my crafty friends!
Today’s post for Susan’s Garden Design Team is a simple little Christmas card. Although Susan has some new releases which are wonderful I have used an older release for the simple reason I was going on vacation and there had not been a release date. In order to have a post ready in time I went ahead and started this card before I left for vacation finishing on my return but have already started working on a card using some of Susan’s new releases which I will post soon.
Now that Christmas is over it is time to play in the snow! One of Susan’s CountryScapes die sets is the Build A Snowman. I have built the snowman just like Susan shows on the die set envelope, but decided to try building him so he is a little different for this card. Is is fun to play with the dies and use them in different ways – besides, no two snowmen are identical! Here is how the card was created:
It’s All Glitter
October 21, 2016Yes, this entire card is created by using glitter on all the die cuts. Good Morning, this is Selma Stevenson today. I admit, I am not great at coloring, but I love to add color by using glitter, especially on Christmas cards. Below I will show you my glitter organization and explain how I created my card.
