Country Snowman

December 28, 2017

Hi Everybody!

Angela here with today’s post. This is my last one as a member of the Susan’s Garden Design team so I’d like to take a minute to say thank you for your kind comments and “likes”. I’ve had a great time designing and sharing my cards with you!

For this post I decided to create a winter scene with Susan’s CountryScapes dies. They are so much fun to play with and the endless ways they can be combined will let your imagination come to life.

This card uses several die sets including English Cottage 2, Build a Snowman, Mountains, and Country Fence with the Snow Decor accessories. Add one of my favourite trees from The Woods set and a scene is born!

Fall Pumpkin Scene

September 7, 2017

Good Morning.  This is Selma Stevenson today.  Don’t you love all the creative ways you can use your die sets to create fun scenes.   Very soon we will be seeing lots of pumpkins so I decided to create a scene you might see out in the country.  I have used White Soft Finish Cardstock to die cut all the pieces for this card, and used ink pads and a sponge dauber to color each piece.    I  added a black cat to the card in the picture below.    Here is how the card was created.

Susan’s Garden Designer Challenge – August

August 8, 2017

Hi everyone,

Welcome to our August Susan’s Garden Design Team Designer Challenge. We had such a fantastic response to our first Susan’s Garden Designer Challenge last month, we are so glad that you all enjoyed it.

Susan Tierney-Cockburn not only designs beautiful flower dies for us to create with,  she also designs a line of CountryScapes dies that can stand alone or be combined to create beautiful scenes.

Our challenge this month is Home is where the Heart is – Use any of the Susan’s Garden House related dies to create your card/project.

For our Challenge today we are giving away a $20 Gift Card to use on the Elizabeth Craft Designs website to 3 winners.

To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post below and answer this question: “Which dies from Susan’s collection make you think of your home?”

We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing.

The winners will be announced on Friday, August 11th, here on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.

Now let’s take a look at the wonderful creations our talented Design Team have created for the Challenge this month. For more information about the cards, click on the designer’s name under each card to be taken to the designer’s blog post and will open up in a new window.

December 26, 2016

Now that Christmas is over it is time to play in the snow!   One of Susan’s CountryScapes die sets is the Build A Snowman.  I have built the snowman just like Susan shows on the die set envelope, but decided to try building him so he is a little different for this card.  Is is fun to play with the dies and use them in different ways – besides, no two snowmen are identical!   Here is how the card was created:
