Karen here today from Craftily Yours! My family and I went to “Sunny” Southern California earlier this year, and it RAINED. I scrapbooked the results for my special moments planner.
Good morning Crafters, today it is Luciana here, with a new planner spread. I love using the planning system to keep memories and picture and little pieces of my everyday life.
Step 1. create a background page. Use some watercolor as base, and the stamps from the set Pure Spring and the set Patterns 2. Create a texture on the page using the die from the set Planner Patterns and some stripes of washi tapes. Add the hole reinforcers from the set Planner Essentials – 7.
Step 2. Stamp on the White Soft Finish Cardstock the 3 labels from the set Retro Labels, then the sentiments “hello everyday life” from the set Retro Labels Sayings and “for the record” from the set Family. In the empty label I added the name of the baby.
Step 3. Add some embellishments. Die cut from the White Soft Finish Cardstock: 2 set of Garden Notes – Frosty Fern 2 set of Garden Notes – Eucalyptus Frosty Fern 2 set of labels from the set Planner Essentials – 11
Thank you for stopping by. Happy planning! Luciana

Hi, Luciana is here! Today I’m sharing with you a project using some elements from the Planner Essentials collection. This is a great collection to add personalized elements to your planner, but also the design is great for any other kind of project. For example I used the large tag from the set Planner Essential – 7 to create a mini album. today I’m sharing the steps to customize the cover of this album.
Step 1.
Prepare the base of the cover. Using the White Soft Finish Cardstock 300gr, cut out: 2 layers of the larger tag from the set Planner Essential -7, and adhere them to each other; 1 piece of the hole reinforcer from the same set, then color it in a brown shade; 2 layers of the grid from the set Garden Patch -1 3/8-inch & Mini Daffodils, and then adhere them to each other; 1 piece of paper 3 1/3 x 4 3/4 inches, and the watercolor it with a blue color.
Cut also a piece of acetate in the following sizes: 3 1/3 x 4 3/4 inches. (tip: you can use a distress ink pad to add a shadow and deepness to each element)
Step 2.
Assemble the pieces with the following sequence: the large tag, the blue piece of paper, the acetate, the grid.
Step 3.
Prepare a Rose using the dies Garden Rose – English Rose. Die cut from the White Soft Finish Cardstock 240gr: 2 sets of the elements with the 3 petals; 3 sets of the other petals. Add a blue shade along all the edges.
Add a texture to each elements of the flower using the loop tool and the molding pad.
Overlap the four elements with the 3 petals.
Put the 3 smaller petals inside the flower concentrically, from the largest to the smallest. Then the 3 larger petals outside the flower, in the same way, from the smallest to the largest.
Step 4.
Prepare all the other decorative elements for the windows.
Die cut some floral elements to decorate the window: the flowers and leaves from the set Garden Notes – Forget-Me-Not (Myosotis); the leaves from the set Garden Notes – Dogwood 2; the sprig from the set Garden Notes – Eucalyptus Frosty Fern; the leaves from the set Garden Notes – Feverfew 1.
Step 5.
Assemble the pieces like the pictures below.
I added a texture paste on the window and some metal elements, such us a lamp, an angular bracket, a brown wired spiral, to make the scene more realistic.
