Welcome! Samantha here sharing a fairy magical card! I originally had plans to join in the Christmas in July fun and create a Christmas themed card using the Snow Globe die. Instead I used many Elizabeth Craft Design dies to create a magical background for fairies!
Step 1: Die cut the snow globe as shown below. Adhere globe pieces to a light grey card base.
Step 2: Use Adventure Edges and Adventure Edges 2 to create a grassy scene using green pattern paper and cardstock.
Step 3: Continue, to create a background scene. Die cut the sun, clouds and mushroom from Once Upon a Time Accessories
Step 4: Using a variety of colours, die cut Fairy 1. Assemble the pieces together and put the Fairy aside.
Step 5: Adhere Clear Double Sided adhesive to white cardstock. Remove the release sheet to expose the adhesive layer and apply a generous amount of Silk Microfine Glitter (silver). Brush off excess glitter and return it to the jar, then polish with a fingertip to bring out the maximum sparkle.
Use this to die cut the wings.
Step 6: Die cut the frame of the snow globe, using foam tape, adhere this on top of the first frame.
Step 7: Stamp the sentiment on to Kraft card, and adhere this to the card front.
Step 8: Die cut the flowers from Adventure Edges 2, adhere these to the card front. Embellish card front with sequins and a twine bow. Adhere the fairy to the card front.
Today’s card is a great way of repurposing Christmas dies – I think If you were to go through your Elizabeth Craft Designs die collection there would be so many other card themes available, that pair up nicely with the Snow Globe die.
Karen here! Just before the holidays, Joset designed and released the Once Upon a Time Collection. Because of holiday crafts, I felt like I didn’t get to play with this line nearly enough and decided to create a couple cards for today’s post using the Princess and the Fairy 1 die sets. The little fairy card would be good for the upcoming Valentine’s Day!
That sweet girl is the Princess. I die cut the pieces for her out of 90 lb White Soft Finish Cardstock. For the pieces “on top”, I usually cut those with 101mm Double Sided Adhesive on the back to make it easier to assemble. I start by lining up the pieces as though I were going to put her together. This helps me to know which colors to use for different pieces.
For today’s post, I used Copic markers to color the girls. The princess used:
Dress, Shoes and Flower: B93, B95, B97, V22, V25
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20
Belt and Crown: Y23, Y26
Eyes: C7 and white gel pen
The card front was cut with the Fitted Rounded Rectangle. I added a strip from the Artsy Scenery Washi Tape collection and a stamp from the Once Upon a Time Sentiments.
The next card uses the Stitched Indented Rectangle and the Fitted Stars for the card front. The Fairy 2 die is colored with the same colors as the princess but I used Y13 and Y19 for the hair, V20 for the wings, E4 for the lips, and YG03, YG06 for the plant stem. I also added a sun and flower from the Once Upon a Time Accessories.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Craftily yours, Karen

It’s Sandy Diller here with you today. I have a fun, quick and easy card to share. I just got my new Sue Smith Stamps and as soon as I saw this one I immediately thought of one of the cute fairy dies from Joset Designs to use along with it. Just add a Santa hat and you’re good to go.
This is a 5″ X 6.5″ card so I used the largest Stitched Indented Rectangle on the front.
After stamping and embossing I was ready for the cute little fairy.
To finish off this card I cut out some glittered stars and a magic wand. It is still blank on the inside so a personal message can be added.
Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. I have a sweet card to share using the new Once Upon A Time release. Below is the steps to create your own Sending Fairy Kisses Card.
Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)
Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Apply Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. Adhere to card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
Step 3 – Diecut Leaf Pattern Background using White Soft Finish Cardstock. Adhere to card using Kids Choice Glue.
Step 4 – Diecut Once Upon A Time Accessories in various colours of Cardstock. Assemble and adhere to card using Kids Choice Glue for some and Foam Tape for the rest.
Step 5 – Diecut Fairy 1 in various colours of Cardstock and Patterned Paper for the dress. Assemble using Kids Choice Glue. For the wand I used Metallic Cardstock for the stick and Glittered Cardstock for the star. For the wings I used Vellum and coloured it with a Light Pink Alcohol Marker then used a Glitter Pen. Adhere to card using Foam Tape.
Step 6 – Stamp Once Upon A Time sentiments using Versafine on Yellow Cardstock. Trim and adhere to card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
This card can be used for several occasions by changing the sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
