Welcome! Samantha here sharing a fairy magical card! I originally had plans to join in the Christmas in July fun and create a Christmas themed card using the Snow Globe die. Instead I used many Elizabeth Craft Design dies to create a magical background for fairies!
Card Instructions:
Step 1: Die cut the snow globe as shown below. Adhere globe pieces to a light grey card base.
Step 2: Use Adventure Edges and Adventure Edges 2 to create a grassy scene using green pattern paper and cardstock.
Step 3: Continue, to create a background scene. Die cut the sun, clouds and mushroom from Once Upon a Time Accessories
Step 4: Using a variety of colours, die cut Fairy 1. Assemble the pieces together and put the Fairy aside.
Step 5: Adhere Clear Double Sided adhesive to white cardstock. Remove the release sheet to expose the adhesive layer and apply a generous amount of Silk Microfine Glitter (silver). Brush off excess glitter and return it to the jar, then polish with a fingertip to bring out the maximum sparkle.
Use this to die cut the wings.
Step 6: Die cut the frame of the snow globe, using foam tape, adhere this on top of the first frame.
Step 7: Stamp the sentiment on to Kraft card, and adhere this to the card front.
Step 8: Die cut the flowers from Adventure Edges 2, adhere these to the card front. Embellish card front with sequins and a twine bow. Adhere the fairy to the card front.
Today’s card is a great way of repurposing Christmas dies – I think If you were to go through your Elizabeth Craft Designs die collection there would be so many other card themes available, that pair up nicely with the Snow Globe die.
