Hi everyone,

It’s Frances Byrne here today. I love the look of black and white cards and adding a pop of color is always fun to add to this color scheme too. Today I have used one of the patterned papers from the Through the Lens Stone collection along with the Stitched and Fitted Squares to create a frame to create a birthday card.

hi

It’s my turn to post a project on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today. Maybe it is the fact that where we live we are quickly approaching winter, but I seem to be drawn to the sea images lately.  I love this patterned paper from the Through the Lens Stone collection, I am not sure about you but when I look at it I see the ocean waves crashing into the sand on the beach. So of course I had to use this to create my beach themed card today.

Altered Savings Bank

March 10, 2016

Hello there, Sanna here again with my first March project. I have recently discovered how much fun it can be creating your own home décor objects. I like to make practical things with a purpose besides looking good, hence, a savings bank made from a box as an altered object. I can use it to hold money I’m saving and it is a pretty accent for a mantel, shelf or table.

Spring Time Tea Light

February 26, 2016

Hi, it’s Sandy Diller here to share a fun project with you.  With spring fast approaching I decided to use some of those lovely pastel colors of the season.  I love these colors although I don’t seem to use them often.  This night light features soft spring colors as well as the warm glow from a trio of battery-operated tea lights.

Here’s how I did it!

Hi everyone,

It’s Frances Byrne here. For my card today I am using a few more of the new dies that were released earlier this month from the Els van de Burgt Studio and Joset Designs collections available from Elizabeth Craft Designs. There are so many fun ways to use the Fitted and Stitched basic shape dies that include Squares, Rectangles, Circles and Ovals. I have also used the new Kites die set which is suitable for all ages.

Another thing that was released earlier this month was the new Through the Lens 6″ x 6″ Patterned Paper Packs that bring Els’s awesome photography to your creations. Today I am using one of the papers from the Stone Series Paper Pack.

Here’s how I created my card

  1. Cut a piece of teal cardstock that measures 5 1/2 inches x 11 inches. Score this piece along the 11 inch side at 5 1/2 inches. Fold along the score line. This will be the card base. Continue Reading
