Good morning!  I am so excited to share my next layout with you!
I understand many people avoid using flowers on layouts with masculine photos but I do not! I use flowers on projects about my husband and sons all the time!

To create this layout;
Step 1 – Cover your background paper with clear gesso and allow to dry.

Step 2 – using your favorite ECD stencil mix texture paste with your favorite colorant. I used a stencil from the Happy Patterns set and texture paste with brown brusho powder

Step 3 – using double sided sheets adhered to cardstock, die cut a mandala, elegant ornament (and keep the circle from the middle), 5 small stitched circles, the strip and 2 flowers ( I used the florals 13 and 10)
Step 4 – Mix together 2 silk microfine glitters that coordinate with your paper in equal amounts. (I used chocolate and blue) then use the glitter on the die cuts from double sided adhesive

Step 5 – Die cut 9 flowers from coordinating cardstock. I used the florals 8, 1, 11, 2, 13, and 10, ink, mold and assemble
Step 6 – Die cut a lacy leaves and cut them apart
Step 7 – Die cut 2 bubbles

Step 7 – Die cut the sentiment from the Sentiment Strip and assemble
Step 8 – Assemble everything as shown

I normally do not take photos in direct sunlight but I really wanted to show how beautiful the glitter looks!

September 8, 2021

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Fall Gift Box.

To create my gift box, I’ve used a variety of dies from the Paper Flowers Collection. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my Fall Gift Box at home.

Step One. Die cut the Pizza Box from the Pizza Box Die out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Ink the edges of the pizza box using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Choose two pieces of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book 2. You’ll also need the scalloped and stitched squares. Die cut the scalloped square out of one of the patterned papers. Die cut the stitched square out of the other patterned paper. Ink the edges of both squares using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Use the same pieces of patterned paper you just used for the previous step. You’ll also need the scalloped and stitched circles. Die cut the scalloped circle out of the same patterned paper you used to die cut the scalloped square. Die cut the stitched circle out of the same patterned paper you used to die cut the stitched square. Ink the edges of both circles using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Take out the patterned paper that the tags are on from the Reminiscence the Book 2. Fussy cut one of the labels out. Ink the edges of the label using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. Choose another piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book 2. Die cut the Lacy Leaves out of the patterned paper. Cut the leaf so one section has three leaves and the other section has two.

Step Six. From the Maple Leaves die, die cut the small and large leaves twice out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Wild Honey Distress Ink over one of the small and one of the large leaves. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Gathered Twigs Distress Ink over the remaining leaves.

Step Seven. From the Florals 10 die, you’ll need the extra large, large, medium and small flowers. Die cut one extra large, one large, three medium and three small flowers out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Fossilized Amber Distress Ink over the entire surface of all of the flowers.

Step Eight. From the Florals 10 die, die cut the flower centres once out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. You’ll need to choose three centres.

Step Nine. Assemble your pizza box.

Step Ten. Adhere the stitched square to the scalloped square. Foam square the scalloped square to the top of the pizza box.

Step Eleven. Adhere the stitched circle to the scalloped circle. Adhere the scalloped circle to the middle of the stitched square.

Step Twelve. Adhere the three leave bunch to the top left side of the pizza box. Adhere the two leaf bunch to the bottom left side of the pizza box.

Step Thirteen. Adhere a large brown leaf and a small orange leaf to the bottom left side of the pizza box, making sure that the previously adhere leaves are still showing. Adhere a large orange leaf and a small brown leaf to the top left side of the pizza box, making sure that the previously adhere leaves are still showing.

Step Fourteen. Adhere a medium and small flower together. Repeat the previous step for one more of the same flower bunch. Adhere the remaining flowers together. Adhere a centre in the middle of each flower bunch. Adhere the extra large flower bunch to the middle left side of the pizza box. Adhere the remaining two smaller flower bunches above and below the extra large flower bunch as desired.

Step Fifteen. Adhere the fussy cut label in the middle of the stitched circle, making sure that part of it slides underneath the flowers.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your own version of my Fall Gift Box at home.

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my I Love You Tag.

To create my tag, I’ve used dies from the Paper Flower Collection as well as dies from the Planner Essentials Collection and stamps from Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my tag at home.

Step One. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. From the Planner Essentials 30 – Wave Pocket Die, you’ll need the medium tag. Die cut the tag out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the tag using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Die cut the 2 1/2″ Stitched Circle from the Pizza Box die out of a piece of kraft cardstock. From the Build Your Own Sentiments Stamp Set, you’ll need the heart and I love You. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink the I love you sentiment and stamp on the right hand side of the circle as desired. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the heart and stamp below the I love you sentiment. Ink the edges of the circle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. From the Florals 10 die, you’ll need the large, medium and small flowers. Die cut the large flower once, the medium flower three times and the small flower three times out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Wilted Violet Distress Ink over the entire surface of each flower.

Step Four. Die cut both leaves three times each out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Mowed Lawn Distress Ink over the entire surface of each leaf. Shape the leaves as desired.

Step Five. Die cut one of the ferns from the Ferns die twice out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the entire surface of both ferns. Trim the ferns down to your desired length.

Step Six. Foam square the circle 3/4″ from the left and 5/8″ from the bottom of the tag.

Step Seven. Adhere a fern and two leaves in the top left side of the tag. Adhere two leaves in the middle left side of the tag. Adhere the remaining fern and two leaves in bottom left side of the tag.

Step Eight. Adhere a small and medium flower together. Repeat this step for a second flower. Adhere the remaining flowers together. Add a black enamel dot in the middle of each flower. Adhere the two medium/small flowers to the bottom left and top left sides of the circle. Adhere the large flower in amongst the other two flowers as desired.

Step Nine. To finish the tag, tie a piece of twine through the top of the tag.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your own version of my I Love You Tag at home.
