Treat Yourself Mini Slimline Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. I have a fun card to share with you using the Food Truck, Food Truck Accessories and the Dog dies. Below are the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish to 7″ x 6″, score at 3 1/2″ and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish to 3 1/4″ x 5 3/4″. Place Planner Stencil 3 on top and using Blending Brushes and apply Ink of your choice. I used the Dots stencil since my dog has spots and used Blue on top and Green on the bottom to simulate an outdoor scene.

Step 3 – Stamp Good Food Good Mood sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink towards the bottom of the panel created in Step 2. Adhere to card front using Foam Tape.

Step 4 – Diecut Food Truck (picnic table) using Light Brown Cardstock. Adhere to card front using Kids Choice Glue.

Step 5 – Diecut Dog using White and Black Cardstock. Assemble using Kids Choice Glue. Leave the two front paws until completing Step 6.

Step 6 – Diecut Food Truck Accessories (small hot dog) using various colors of cardstock. Assemble using Kids Choice Glue. Adhere the Hot Dog to the bottom of the Dog created in Step 5. Attach the front paws like it is holding the Hot Hog. Adhere to card front using Kids Choice Glue.

Mini Floral Truck

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I am sharing a Mini Floral Truck. Below are the steps to create your own Mini Floral Truck Card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ and fold in half for a horizontal top fold card. To create the mini truck version visit Els’ YouTube here. You have to place the Food Truck die slightly below the fold line so that the card doesn’t cut in 2 and bring the front just at the edge of the side. Pass it through the die cutting machine and cut only the front. The same for the back. Place it at the edge and only diecut the back. For the center part use a trimmer or an exacto knife.

Step 2 – Diecut Food Truck pieces using various colors of cardstock. Assemble and adhere to truck using Kid’s Choice Glue.

Step 3 – Diecut Farm Accessories (sunflower) using various colors of cardstock. Assemble and adhere to card using Kid’s Choice Glue.

Step 4 – Diecut Monster 2 (flower) using various colors of cardstock. Assemble and adhere to card using Kid’s Choice Glue.

Step 5 – Stamp Good Food Good Mood using Versafine Onyx Black Ink to the inside of the card.

Tic-Tac-and Toe-tally Fun

Hello Jackie here with todays post which is a super fun one today, the kids are going to love this one! I have created a pizza box tic-tac-toe board game complete with tiny playing pieces, the game is small enough to pack up and take on your travels keeping those small and big kids occupied!

Step One:

Start by die cutting and building the pizza box base then add a die cut scalloped edged layer to the lid.

Step Two:

Next build the burger. I have stacked up the bun part three times to add some dimension, add a yellow panel to the lid before attaching the burger along with all the words.

Step Three:

To create the playing board. Cut a white panel then trim four thin strips of red card, use a gridded cutting board to arrange and glue the strips into the criss cross shape. I have stacked up the white panel by three layers to create a sturdy board.

Step Four:

Layer the playing board on a yellow scalloped edge base, I have double stack the base for extra stability.

Step Five:

I have stacked the pieces with a lot of die cuts to make them thick and sturdy, you can choose to use as many layers as you like.

The playing board and pieces fit perfectly inside the box.

Scary Food Truck

Karen here today posting a bit more inspiration using the Food Truck! Today’s inspiration is about a scary truck!

Started by creating this adorable little monster with the Monster 1 set. How sweet is he playing on top of the truck with his partially eaten cookie?!

I added some cookies and corn also to the window of the food truck. (The cookies are part of the Monsters 1 set – I added chocolate chips with a pen. The corn is part of the Corn Field set.) I cut the awning in both black and orange to add this little decoration to the awning.

Final touches to the food truck included the eye and the truck sign that are from the Monster Hugs Stamp set and the dots along the bumper that I did with a silver glitter pen.

Farm fresh pick up truck

Hi all! It’s Sylvia here with a fun twist in the brand new food truck. Have you seen it yet? Joset turned my idea perfectly into a great design and together with all the accessories it is such a versatile set. Here is another fun variation that you can create with this food truck. Are you ready?

Step 1: diecut all parts of the foodtruck from Soft Finish Cardstock. Diecut as well some fruits, veggies and crates from set 1858 farm accessories and a basket from the foodtruck accessories, also in Soft Finish cardstock

Step 2: trim off the small part above the hind wheel, as shown in the photo below

Step 3: cut the foodtruck at the black lines as shown in the next photo. Now you’ll have a base for a pick up truck.

Step 4: colour all parts to your liking. I used distress ink salvaged patina and speckled egg for the blueish tones and brushed corduroy for the browns, I also rubbed some copper wax randomly to get a ‘rusty look’ on the pick up truck.

Step 5: assemble the truck as shown in the photo and stamp ‘farm fresh’ on the side, using the stamp from set CS 296 goid food, good mood

Step 6: colour the crates, basket, fruits and veggies to your liking. Note: I used the centre part of the sunflower as oranges

Step 7: arrange the crates, basket, fruits and veggies on the pick up truck. I added a steering wheel and used the T-shape from set 1620 safari accessories for mine. Now your truck is ready to deliver the harvest to the market. You can use it in your planner or send it as a card to a friend.

Food Truck Accessories Cards

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. I have some fun cards to share with you using the Food Truck Accessories Dies. It’s a great to create CAS cards. See below for the steps to create your own cards.

Card 1

Step 1 – Card 1 and 2: Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ and fold in half for a horizontal top fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. Card 1: use a Mini Ink Pad and swipe it directly to cardstock. Place Planner Stencil 3 on top of panel and ink blend color of your choice to add a subtle background. Card 2: On a Gel Plate add colors of your choice and place a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock to pick up the ink. Place Planner Stencil 3 on top of panel and ink blend color of your choice to add a subtle background.

Step 3 – Card 1 and 2: Diecut Fitted Rectangles to the panels created from Step 3. Adhere both to individual card front using Foam Tape.

Step 4 – Card 1 and 2: Diecut Food Truck Accessories using various colors of cardstock. Assemble using Kids Choice Glue and adhere to card using Foam Tape. Optional: Add Glossy Accents to the top to create a glaze top. Let dry.

Step 5 – Card 1 and 2: Stamp Good Food Good Mood Sentiments underneath the image using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

What a Whopper!

Hello again everyone, Jackie here. I have an extra tasty post today with this gigantic burger stack made using the food truck accessories set. Let’s get started.

Step One:

Die cut a rounded cornered panel that fits slightly smaller than an A2 card blank, stamp the first sentiment top centre and use this as a starting point to stamp out the whole panel.

Step Two:

Layer the stamped panel onto a piece of black card leaving a very small amount around the edges. Fix to the card front using 3d foam pads.

Step Three:

Stamp out the sentiment again using black ink and white card, trim the piece to fit the size of the burger.

Step Four:

Die cut a handful of burger pieces and start to assemble the stack, place a few of the pieces upside down to create a different look.

Step Five:

Once the burger is built attach to the card front using more 3d foam pads

We All Scream Cone-Gratulations

Hello crafty friends, it’s Summer Hills-Painter here. I have had this idea in my head ever since I first saw this Food Truck die being released. I was always a fan of ice cream cones.

Preparation:

Cut a piece of green cardstock using the second largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles die. Cut another piece of green cardstock using the stitched die from the Book Box die. Cut a piece of white cardstock using the smaller rectangle from the book box die. Cut a piece of white cardstock measuring 4 1/4″ ” x 5 1/2″. From the Food Truck Accessories, cut and color 2 ice cream scoops and 1 ice cream cone. I light to put post-it tape to the underside of the die cut to hold it in place while I color the objects.

Instructions:
Using the ice cream cone stamp from the stamp set, randomly stamp the ice cream cone on the piece of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of white cardstock. My white cardstock is alcohol marker safe paper.

Color the ice cream cones using the same color combinations used for the die cut ice cream cone. Once the coloring is completed, die cut the piece using the second largest fitted rectangle die from the Fitted Rectangle die set

Stamp the sentiment from the stamp set to the die cut banner. I like to use the negative to create a template that I can place the banner in and stamp perfectly every time. This time save comes in handy when making multiple sentiment banners. Also, because the stamps are flexible, you can manipulate how the stamp adheres to your stamping platform to follow the curves of the banner.

Adhere the two smaller rectangles together and then adhere the ice cream cone to the layers.

Adhere the res of the layers together and then attach to the card base which is a standard A2 card base.

Fold the banner by following the score lines and adhere to the front of the card. I added a little bit of foam tape to the banner for additional dimension

Ice Cream Truck Card

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. By now you have been seeing Food Trucks appearing on Social Media. Although the Food Truck, Food Truck Accessories, and the Good Food Good Mood Stamp Set won’t be in the store for a week or so I wanted to share what I made with the set. Below are the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Fold Soft Finish Cardstock in half and diecut Food Truck with the fold slightly below the top the die. This will diecut and keep the top and front attached.

Step 2 – Diecut Food Truck in various colors of cardstock and assemble all the pieces using Kid’s Choice Glue.

Step 3 – Diecut Food Truck Accessories in various colors of cardstock and assemble all the pieces and adhere to card front using Kids Choice Glue.

Step 4 – Stamp Good Food Good Mood using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
