Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Welcome back to another card inspriation. Today my card is featuring the adorable Squirrel die. It went great with some older product. Below is the steps to create your own card.
Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)
Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 6”. Diecut Adventure Edges (cloud die) to use as a stencil. Place it on top of the panel and apply ink to the edge using a Blender Brush. I used Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass. Adhere to card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Step 3 – Diecut Adventure Edges (mountain die) using Green Cardstock. Adhere to card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape. Diecut (grass die) using Lt. Green Cardstock (do not adhere now)
Step 4 – Diecut Forest Accessories using Kraft Cardstock for the tree stump, Cream/White/Red Cardstock for the mushrooms. Add some blending to the tree stump and adhere it and the mushrooms to the card front using Kids Choice Glue.
Step 5 – Diecut Squirrel using Kraft Cardstock to the Squirrel and acorns. Add some shading with markers of your choice. I used Copic Markers. Assemble and adhere to card using Kids Choice Glue.
Step 6 – Diecut Easter Basket (flowers and leaf stem) assemble and adhere to card using Kids Choice Glue.
Step 7 – Adhere the Grass Border created in Step 3 using Kids Choice Glue.
Step 8 – Diecut Sentiments 2 Just Because using White Cardstock. Keep the diecut intack and place in a stamping Platform and stamp with matching sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Adhere to card using Kids Choice Glue. Sentiments 2 is no longer in the shop but you can use Sentiments 1 Celebration instead if you don’t have Sentiments 2.
This card can be used for many occasions by simply changing the sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
