Hi Friends! It’s EK, and today I am creating a couple of holiday tags for all the all those who love their Fur Babies. It is no secret that I absolutely love taking the ECD’s critter dies and dressing them up for different holidays. Well, with the release of the new Winter Accessories die set, I will have no problem at all getting all the different critters dressed and ready for Christmas. Today, I have dressed up the Cat and Dog die set for all those that love their pets as much as family.
Step One: Die cut from 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock the Cat die set.
Step Two: Using alcohol markers, color the die cut pieces. I used copic markers.
Step Three: Using Kids Choice Glue, adhere the die cut pieces of the Cat die set together.
Step Four: Repeat steps 1-3 using the Dog die set.
Step Five: Die cut the Santa Hat, Scarf, and Reindeer ears from the new Winter Accessories and color them with alcohol markers.
Step Six: Adhere the Winter Accessories to the Cat and Dog.
Step Seven: Die cut the Elegant Christmas Trees die set in both beige and dark gray cardstock. Die cut a black backing for the trees. This will make up the base of the tag.
Step Eight: Die cut one of the Diagonal Stitched Fishtails die set two times in red cardstock. Die cut two times a sentiment from the Words- 5 Winter Wishes die set out of dark green cardstock.
Step Nine: Adhere the with 10mm Clear Double Sided Tape the Dog to the beige tag. Adhere with Kids Choice Glue the die cut sentiment.
Step Ten: Add a sentiment from the Furrever Friends stamp set to the Fishtail tag. Punch a hole in both the Elegant Christmas Tree and Fishtail banner. Adhere the banner to the tag with a little 6mm Clear Double Sided Tape so the banner is fixed. Add a ribbon to the hole punched holes.
Here is the finished tag featuring the Dog die set.
Step Eleven– Repeat steps 9-10 this time using the dark grey Elegant Christmas Tree and Cat die set.
