Good morning ECD fans! Do you struggle with creating masculine cards like I do? Why not create several cards to have on hand that can be used for both men and women.
Joset’s Feathers are perfect for creating these types of cards!
Hi everyone,
It´s Sanna here, and it´s my turn to post a tutorial for the Die Cut Design Team. Today I decided to share with you a teen boy birthday card idea. My son recently celebrated his birthday and this is the card I made for him. It is fairly easy to make and by changing the colors you can easily create a card for a teen girl using the same idea.
Hello friends,
Welcome to the ECD blog. I am Anita here today for the Colouring Design Team. Birthdays can be so much fun and creating cards for this occasion is a beautiful way to show affection for the birthday person. I love making sweet birthday cards and Elizabeth Craft Designs has some amazing stamps and dies to make your birthday projects look awesome.
For my card I tried a new technique for creating a gingham effect background with alcohol inks. It’s easy to do because the lines don’t have to be perfect. It provides a colourful base to the stamped images and dies.
Happy Friday! Hope everyone has fun weekend plans! It’s Karen, here with a birthday card that I made for my mom. She is the best mom (for me) and really enjoys the cards I make for her. I used the Purr Clear Stamps and coordinating dies, plus the Twist Circle Pop-Up die set.
It’s my turn to post a tutorial on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today. My card today is inspired by a Christmas card I received from my sister-in-law. As soon as I saw the card I knew that I had to make something similar using the new ModaScrap Rose Pocket die. I love it when you find there are ways to use a die other than for what it was intended.
Good morning Elizabeth Craft Designs fans~ Birgit here today and I’m happy to be sharing my very first post as a Die Cut Design Team member with you. Now that Christmas and New Year’s are over, I’m ready to use some spring colors in my craft palette. These Lovebirds are just perfect for a mid-winter pick-me-up!
Happy Day, Everyone! It’s Karen here, and I am SO excited about my very first official blog post as a member of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Coloring Team!
One of my goals this year is to remember to send birthday cards to friends and family. Making them is not a problem…remembering is! I created one today using the soon-to-be-released Elizabeth Craft Designs ‘Feathered Friends’ stamps!
Happy first week of Summer to my Northern Hemisphere crafty friends! Summer is easily my favorite season and it always seems that the time flies by. This year I decided to create a little mini album to capture some of the happy summer memories. The album is the first album I have created and it was so much fun…I know I will make more! Perhaps some of my family and friends will see a mini album in their future. (big smile!)
The mini album was not designed by me (I found the instructions on Pinterest) so I will provide a link to the album instruction at the end of this post. However, I can share photos of my take on the album…and I have many to share…so let’s start!
The front of the album with Suzanne Cannon’s lovely Summer die and bright and cheerful Graphic 45 papers:
The back of the album has Celebrate (because I think every summer day is a celebration of season):
The mini album is accordion style…so neat!
The album contains panels for photos or journaling.
Following the cheerful theme I used the “happy” die on the front inside panel:
“Remember” definitely had to be used on this wee album…
…as did “Memories” (so pretty!!)
The heart is elegant and happy (had to be added!)…
…and “Dream” (one of my favorite dies!) will be used with a photo of my sweet puppy sleeping…
Here are the outside panels…
…and the inside panels…
Oh – I so look forward to adding all my photos, journaling and embellishments to this cheerful album! (Can you tell I enjoyed making it?)

Thank you for stopping by! I do hope you enjoyed the album.
Big hugs,
Hi Everyone,
It’s Tina here and I have some wonderful news to share. Today is my first official post as one of Susan’s Designers for Susan’s Garden Club. Yeah!!! I am super excited to be joining her wonderful team.
My card for today was inspired by Spring which has finally arrived here in Canada. It took its sweet time. Everywhere I go I am seeing gardens bloom. I knew my first card would have to be a garden.
