Hi there, it’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this sparkly Christmas Card step by step.
Step 1: Die Cutting and Stamping
die cut one of the Stitched Rectangles from watercolor cardstock
stamp the sugar cane from the Oh the Joy of Christmas set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist onto a piece of watercolor paper, heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder and fuzzy cut it
stamp the stars from the same stamp set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Metallic Silver Super Fine embossing powder
Step 2: Creating the Background
add color to the background using Distress Oxide Inks (Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire) and a Blending Brush
add splatters with Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust for even more sparkle
Step 3: Coloring the Image
color the sugar cane with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
Step 4: Sentiment and Finishing Touches
stamp the sentiment from the Classic Christmas Sentiment Set with Versamark onto a piece of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver Super Fine embossing powder
adhere the panel onto a grey cardbase using clear double-sided adhesive
add some silver sequins to finish the card

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Seasons Greetings Card.
I love creating with Krista Schneider’s stamps as there are fabulous designs and are the perfect images to add to any project you’re working on. You’ll want to read below as I have a tutorial for you on how to recreate my card at home!
Step One. Choose a piece of Christmas patterned paper. Die cut a 4 3/4″ Stitched Indented Square out of the paper. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Two. Die cut a 4 1/4″ Stitched Indented Square out of Rich Black Soft Finish Cardstock.
Step Three. Die cut a 3 3/4″ Stitched Indented Square out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to some of the circles from the Circle Background and stamp randomly onto the square. Reapply ink as needed to the stamp. Sprinkle Golden Rod Molten Dimensions Embossing Powder overtop of the circles. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Four. From the Words 5 – Winter Wishes die, die cut the Seasons Greetings sentiment out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the entire surface of the sentiment.
Step Five. Next, you’ll need the Poinsettia Stamp Set. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the poinsettia stamp and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the berry sprig stamp and stamp onto the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Reapply ink two more times to the berry sprig stamp and stamp on the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the holly branch stamp and stamp onto the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Reapply ink to the holly branch stamp and stamp on the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the pine branch stamp and stamp onto the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Reapply ink two more times to the pine branch stamp and stamp on the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock.Colour the images in using a waterbrush and Tombow Markers 847, 249, 177, 026 and 969. Die cut the images out using the coordinating Poinsettia Dies. Ink the edges of the images using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Six. Adhere the emboss square to the black soft finish cardstock square. Foam square the black soft finish square to the patterned paper square.
Step Seven. Adhere the holly branches, pine branches and berry sprigs as desired in behind the poinsettia. Foam square the poinsettia to the middle of the embossed square.
Step Eight. Adhere the Seasons Greetings sentiment to the right side of the poinsettia. To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 4 3/4″ x 9 1/2″, score at 4 3/4″. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I am sharing a tweet greetings card using the Winter Bird and Sleigh dies from Joset Designs. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.
Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)
Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Apply ink of your choice to the entire panel. I used Distressed Oxide Inks. Optional add some White Acrylic Paint using a water brush to create a snowfall. Lightly tap the brush so the paint Will splatter onto the panel. Adhere to card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Step 3 – Diecut Adventure Edges 2 using White Soft Finish Cardstock to create hills. Adhere the bottom 2 using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape. Stamp Joyful Wishes sentiment to the top hill using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Adhere to card.
Step 4 – Diecut Winter Bird and Sleigh (just the tree) using coloured Cardstock. Optional I added shading using an alcohol marker to the edges. I used the Spectrum Noir Classique Markers. Assemble the tree and bird using Kids Choice Glue and adhere to card using Foam Tape.
Step 5 – Optional. For added interest and sparkle I used a fine tip applicator using liquid glue around the edges of the tree and some parts of the bird then before it dried I added Silk Microfine Glitter in Warm Diamond. The sparkle in real life is stunning but the photo doesn’t do it justice. For a finishing touch use a White Gel Pen to add dots to the tree and bird. I think I went crazy but I love the results.

Angela here! Well, it’s definitely that time of year again when lots of us are busy with cards and shopping and decorating. At least getting Christmas cards together is made much easier with all the wonderful dies and stamps provided by Elizabeth Craft Designs. There are so many possibilities!
This time I’ve decided to use dies from Suzanne Cannon’s dies. I’ve used the tree from A Way With Words, Flourished Christmas Minis 2 as well as A Way With Words, Cheers. By cutting them from 2 different papers and using the negative spaces, I’ve been able to get two different cards!
Here’s how I did it:
Cut and fold a 10 x 7 inch piece of 110lb Soft Finish cardstock to create a 5×7 inch card base.
Cut a 4.75 x 6.75 piece of background paper. I used red.
Cut 2 pieces of gold mirror paper, one of them to 7 x 2.75 inches, the other to 7 x 2.5 inches. Back this second one with double sided adhesive.
Cut 1 piece of the same background colour as earlier, to 7 x 2.25 inches
Cut 1 piece of Soft Finish cardstock to 7 x 2.5 inches. Back this with double sided adhesive.
From the white strip cut 3 trees. I centered the first one then cut one on either side. Do the same from the smaller of the gold pieces (the one backed with adhesive).
To assemble the card, adhere the background piece to the card base,
Adhere the wider gold piece to the bottom section of the card.
Adhere the white die cut strip to the narrower red piece and adhere this to the card front.
Inlay the gold trees into the cut-outs on the white piece.
From another piece of gold mirror paper 5 x 1.5 inches, backed with double sided adhesive, cut the Cheers dies. Adhere to the upper half of the card.
There you have it. And of course, you now have the remaining white trees and gold cut out piece to create a second card!
Hello There! Samantha here, sharing a card I created using Elizabeth Craft Design Planner dies. Masculine cards are not my speciality –– in fact I generally try to avoid them. This card is probably as close to masculine you’ll get from me (and even then I couldn’t resist adding pretty sequins and a twine bow!)
Card Instructions:
Step 1: Cut red card stock to fit an A6 card base. (Measurements: 114mm x 162mm)
Step 2: Adhere Clear Double Sided adhesive (3mm & 6mm) to black cardstock. Remove the release sheet to expose the adhesive layer and apply a generous amount of Silk Microfine Glitter (Basic Black). Brush off excess glitter and return it to the jar, then polish with a fingertip to bring out the maximum sparkle.
Step 3: Trim the Basic Black Glitter cardstock to create thin strips of glitter card.
Step 4: Using black cardstock cut additional strips varying in thickness (3mm to 6mm). Adhere these to the red card front, including a few Basic Black Glitter strips. Trim off any excess card.
Step 6: Next, adhere strips of black card and strips of Basic Black Glitter card in the optional direction as shown below. Trim off any excess card.
Step 7: Stamp the sentiment using embossing ink, apply black heat embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool. Adhere this to the card front.
Step 8: (Optional) Add machine stitched details.
Step 9: Use corrugated Kraft cardstock and die cut the reindeer.
Step 10: Use red cardstock to die cut the reindeer’s nose.
Step 11: Adhere the reindeer to the card front. Embellish with sequins and a twine bow. Adhere card front to an A6 card base.
This card is definitely in my top 10 makes for 2019 –– I’m not sure how masculine this card truly is but I loved creating my own tartan plaid background and Rudolf has always been my favourite reindeer!
I love Christmas cards as much as the next crafter, however, there comes a point that I stop being excited about the limited color pallet that goes along with the holidays. So today, I have pulled a few of the new Way with Words dies and paired it with some non traditional holiday colors and even a few non holiday dies.
Step One: Pick your traditional holiday colors. I pulled out a piece of Pewter Soft Finish Cardstock trimmed to 12×6 inches to be the card base along with some Lavender, Silver Gray and Dusky Lavender Soft Finish Cardstock.
Step Two: Die cut the A Way with Words Wreath & Elements large wreath out of Silver Gray Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the small wreath and flower from the same die out of the Lavender cardstock. Finally, die cut the new A Way With Words Flourished Deer out of the Dusky lavender cardstock.
Step Three: Using liquid adhesive, adhere the die cuts onto the card frame. I used Kids Choice Glue.
Step Four: Die cut the sentiment from the new A Way With Words Merry Christmas 3 die and die cut it twice, once in dusky lavender and once in lavender. Adhere the die cuts together, leaving a shadow of color behind.
Step Five: I started to add the sentiment to the top of the card frame, but thought the card look too busy.
So instead, I added the sentiment inside the card.
Step Six: Finally, I added a few craft drops to the small wreath in a darker pink color because I thought the card needed just a little bit of something.

Up North in Quebec, winter has shown its nose quite early this year and we’ve already had our first snow storm! That triggered my motivation to start my Christmas cards and this one was oh so much fun to make. A little bird told me that it was about time I started playing with the new winter and Christmas dies from Joset’s collection, so I did just that!
Here are the steps to make this card:
Step 1: Background
To make this card you need a 11 X 5 1/2 inches piece of White Soft Finish cardstock, folded in half to make a square 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches.
Cut a 5 1/4 inches square out of some red cardstock.
Cut a 5 inch square out of some patterned blue cardstock.
Adhere each layers on top of each other with some Transparent Double Sided AdhesiveTape.
Step 2: Bird house
Using the Dog House (#1668) die set, die cut the house in a light brown cardstock;
With some red cardstock, die cut the roof of the dog house;
Die cut a dark brown square to cover the back of the door.
Step 3: Wreath
Using the wreath in the Reindeer (#1681) die set, die cut it in green cardstock;
Using the same die set, die cut some big and some small lights in yellow, red and blue cardstock;
Using the back of the Pointed Tweezers, do some small veins on the wreath;
With some Kids Choice Glue, adhere the “lights” all around the wreath;
Add some a small drop of glue on the “lights” and sprinkle some Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitters.
Step 4: Snowflakes
Die cut twice the snow flakes plate using the Snow Globe Scene (#1410) die set on to some White Soft Finish cardstock doubled with a Transparent Double Sided Adhesive Sheet;
Peel of the adhesive sheet and cover with some Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitters. Rub off the glitters with fingers to make the snowflakes really sparkle.
Step 5: The bird
Die cut all the parts of the bird and the branch out of White Soft Finish cardstock using the Winter Bird (#1685) die set;
Color each part with ink markers.
With Kids Choice Glue, adhere some wiggle eyes on the face and glue all the parts of the bird;
Roll slightly the bird on a pen to give it a bit of dimension.
Die cut the snow for the branch White Soft Finish cardstock doubled with a Transparent Double Sided Adhesive Sheet;
Peel of the adhesive sheet and cover with some Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitters. Rub off the glitters with fingers to make the snow also really sparkle;
Adhere the snow on the branch.
The final touch…
On the card base, and using some Transparent Double Sided AdhesiveTape, adhere the bird house (dog house) on the card;
Put some foam adhesive on the back of the wreath and the branch, and adhere both on the card;
Put some foam adhesive on the back of the bird and adhere to the tip of the branch;
With some Kids Choice Glue, adhere the snowflakes on the background.
