You Will Never Know the Value Planner Page

April 28, 2020

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my You Will Never Know the Value Planner Page.

To create my planner page, I’ve used a variety of the dies from the Planner Essentials Collection as well as dies from Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my page at home.

Step One. Die cut the page from the Planner Essentials 27 – Retro Number Trio out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the page down to 7 1/4″ tall. Spray Distress Spray Stain in Mermaid Lagoon, Abandoned Coral and Cracked Pistachio as desired on the page. Dry the page with a heat tool.

Step Two. From the Patterns 2 Stamp set, you’ll need the bubbles stamp. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the stamp and stamp randomly on the page as desired seven times. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed. Ink the edges of the page using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Die cut a 1 7/8″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut another 1 7/8″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of Misty Mauve Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut a 3/4″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of a piece of patterned paper. Tear a bit off the top of both 1 7/8″ fishtails. Distress the edges of all three fishtails. Ink the edges of the fishtails using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Die cut the 2 3/4″ and 1 1/2″ Note pieces out of book page from the Planner Essentials 21 – Note Pieces die. Distress the edges of the note pieces. Ink the edges of the note pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. Choose one of the small tag toppers from the Planner Essentials 26 – Planner Pocket 3 – Tag & Toppers out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Distress the edges of the tag topper. Ink the edges of the tag topper using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Six. Choose one of the labels from the Planner Labels. Die cut the label out of patterned paper. Distress the edges of the label. Ink the edges of the label using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Seven. From the Planner Essentials – 2 die, die cut the small tag out of patterned paper. Distress the edges of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Eight. Die cut the tag from the Planner Essentials -4 die out of patterned paper. Distress the edges of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Ten. From the Planner Essentials 24 – Photo Frame Page die, die cut the film strip out of black cardstock.

Step Eleven. Die cut the heart from the Planner Essentials – 8 die out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Distress the edges of the heart. Ink the edges of the heart using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Twelve. From the Planner Essentials 20 – Half Heart Page Set die, die cut the plain lightbulb out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the heart lightbulb out of Misty Mauve Soft Finish Cardstock. Distress the edges of the lightbulbs and heart. Ink the edges of the lightbulbs and heart using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
