Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Happy Birthday Card. My inspiration came from Susan’s Garden Notes Black Eyed Susan and Frame It Stitched Square die sets. Once I had those elements of my card figured out, I added a few elements cut with dies from Els van de Burgt Studi0 and Joset Designs to finish it off. I hope that you enjoy my tutorial!

Inspired by such thoughts, I present to you today my latest creation using the Dahlia flower, a flower that symbolizes everlasting bonds and commitment. With its multitude of petals, the Dahlia is much like life with all its varied experiences.
I have made this creation using Susan’s Garden Notes Dahlia 2, Garden Notes Ladder Fern, Garden Notes Ostrich Fern, and Garden Notes Maidenhair Fern dies.
Flowers have the power to reflect our deepest emotions. They are used to convey love, gratitude, to celebrate and to mourn.
Today I chose the hydrangea and peony to express sympathy and support for those who grieve right now, for even at times of loss the beauty of flowers can provide solace and bring joy. The hydrangea represents heartfelt emotions, the peony stands for family honor and love.
