Maritime Theme

Just for Him

June 11, 2015

Hi! It’s Angela and today I wanted to share a project created using the brand new Maritime peel-offs from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I love projects with nautical themes and the new peel-offs and the BoBunny Boardwalk paper inspired this project. The two paired together perfectly to create this fun and easy masculine chipboard book.

Instructions for the cover:

*Place a Maritime peel-off ship onto the patterned paper. Color and shade the sail and the boat.
*Die cut the ship with the Garden Patch die. When removing the 16 pieces from the die, place them in the correct sequence.
*Cut out the Garden Patch die again in black cardstock.
*Create the covers and spine of the book and cover with patterned paper.
* Glue the black Garden Patch frame onto the front of the book and glue the 16 boat pieces in the correct order into the grid frame.
*Add black peel-off corners and decorative lines.
*Ink and distress a wooden anchor and glue to the book front.
*Stamp the sentiment onto cream cardstock and mat onto black cardstock and glue onto the front cover.
Instructions for the inside pocket:
*Decorate the pocket and background paper with the Maritime peel-offs using positive and negative peel-offs.
*Cut a tag from the Tags & More – Deco die.
*Cut an overlay from the die and glue to the tag front.
*Add ribbon and place in the pocket

Mini Legal Pad:
