Angela here to share a birthday card with a fall theme. I had a lot of fun playing with Distress Oxide ink backgrounds the other day. One of them proved to be just right for this card. I have to admit to being particularly fond of fall colours and especially like a pop of purple, so of course Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s Asters were just what I needed to go with her Chrysanthemums. Some purple berries, and voila! Joset’s Dream stamps provided just the right sentiment.

Elizabeth Craft Designs’ Soft Finish Cardstock 100 lb is the perfect choice. I have tried many others and this cardstock has the best results. Elizabeth Craft Designs has some beautiful die sets that can be transformed with simple colouring to make cards for the men in our lives.
I have a very elegant masculine card today. I used several layers to build my card and chose the new Distress Oxide inks to colour the feathers.
