The A Way With Words die sets are perfect for creating elegant holiday cards. This is Selma Stevenson today and I designed a card using Suzanne Cannon’s Warm Thoughts and Flourish Candle die sets. For additional embellishment, Garden Notes die sets were used.
In Quebec, the beautiful colors of autumn have past leaving behind brown and grey shades. Some flurries have made their first appearance, reminding us that winter will soon drape its white coat around us until spring. Looking at the new collection of flowers from Susan’s Garden Notes, the astrantia (from the Greek word “asteri” meaning “Star”) caught my eyes and reminded me of fireworks. So let’s celebrate in hopes that those astrantias will give us a little bit of strength and courage for the winter to come!
Hello, it is Christine here today with a card that I created for Breast Cancer Awareness as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This card is dedicated to our very own wonderful designer Susan Tierney-Cockburn in memory of her daughter Kelly and to all those that have been affected by breast cancer.
My idea for this card started with a local news report on a gentleman from a couple of towns over from us who grows a field of pink pumpkins each year and, once harvested, sells the pumpkins and donates all proceeds to Relay for Life. I started with a pinkish pumpkin using Susan’s new Garden Notes French Pumpkin and then added in a couple more of her new releases – Garden Notes Helenium and Feverfew 1.
Hello everyone, Christine here with my first post for Elizabeth Craft Designs in 2018.
Weather here in Maine has been bitterly cold, actually record cold for December, and it is going to continue. Dreaming of warmer days, my post today uses Susan’s Garden Dahlia 2 and Black Eyed Susans which were in her last release along with Suzanne Cannon’s Flourished Frame and Els van de Burgt’s Thanks and Berry Branch.
Good Morning. This is Selma Stevenson today. It is time to wish you a Happy New Year! Our next holiday will be Valentine’s Day and nothing represents this special day better than roses and hearts (or is it chocolate for some of you?). I have designed a card using Susan’s Garden Rose 1 die set and Elizabeth Craft Designs Scalloped Hearts die set. The beautiful sentiment is from one of the A Way With Words die sets.
‘Tis the Season to build a Snowman! Hi, its Selma Stevenson today. It is always fun to build a snowman and dress him up. You can stay warm and build cute snowmen to create birthday or holiday cards using the Stylish Snowman die set.
Good Morning. This is Selma Stevenson today with a card designed using two Susan’s Garden Notes Poinsesttia die sets. I will show you how I painted the petals for this pretty Pink Marble Poinsettia.
Hi Everyone! Angela Whelton here from Susan’s Garden Design Team. While I know this is the time of year when most people are working on getting Christmas cards completed, for me it’s the week that we commemorate my mom’s passing. It’s been a long time, 12 years already, but sometimes it doesn’t seem nearly that long ago. My mother loved wildflowers so for today’s card, I’ve chosen some of her favourites: Cosmos, Lilacs, and the new Black-Eyed Susan done in white so that it becomes a daisy, as suggested by Susan in one of her recent Facebook Live tutorials. (Susan streams on Facebook Live each week except over the holidays.) I’ve gathered the bouquet in the Victorian Teacup and Saucer.
