Hey Friends! It’s EK and today I am creating a card featuring some spotlight stamping using Charlene’s Make a Wish stamp set. All of Charlene’s stamp set designs were just meant to be colored and the spotlight stamping technique is just perfect for these large images.
Step One: Trim a piece of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock to 4.25×5.5 inches. Using some water resistant black ink stamp the sentiment onto the cardstock. Using the large feather from the Make a Wish stamp set, stamp the feather image around the card.
Step Two: Using the coordinating smaller feather, stamp the image into the blank spaces between the large image.
Step Three: Die cut the stamped image using the Stitched Rounded Rectangle die set twice.
Step Four: Die cut some Rust Soft Finish Cardstock using the Fitted Rounded Rectangle die set using dies slightly larger than the ones used to die cut the stamped images.
Step Five: Using some 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the die cut images to the Rust cardstock.
Step Six: Using a watercolor maker and a water brush, add some light brown onto half of the feathers from the middle panel.
Step Seven: Repeat step six, but this time using a dark brown watercolor brush.
Step Eight: Adhere all three panels to an A2 card frame.

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Sea You Soon Card.
I’m been loving creating with the new dies from Joset Designs newest release. For today’s project, I’ve create this card, which uses a variety of the new Joset Designs dies as well as some from the previous release. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my card at home.
Step One. Choose a piece of beach themed patterned paper. Die cut a 5 1/4″ Stitched Rounded Square out of the paper. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Two. Die cut a 4 3/4″ Stitched Rounded Square out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Three. Die cut a 3/4″ Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 2 1/4″. Apply Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink to the Sea You Soon sentiment from the Splish Splash Sentiment and stamp onto the fishtail. Ink the edges of the banner using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
The next seven steps all use the Lighthouse die.
Step Four. Die cut the Lighthouse twice out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Set one full lighthouse to the side.
Step Five. Die cut the bottom and middle die out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. From the second lighthouse, cut the top portion off, just below the windows.
Step Six. Die cut the top and bottom portion of the lighthouse out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. From the second lighthouse, cut the strip between the window and middle out as well as the strip in between the middle and the bottom. Recycle the middle and bottom portions of the lighthouse. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Candied Apple Distress Ink over the entire surface of the top, bottom and two strips.
Step Seven. Die cut the large windows from the lighthouse die out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink over the entire surface of the windows.
Step Nine. Die cut the small windows, door opening and decorative strip out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink over the entire surface of the small windows, door opening and decorative strip.
Step Ten. Die cut the sand out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, lightly blend Tea Dye Distress Ink over the entire surface of the sand.
Step Eleven. Die cut the seagulls out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Hickory Smoke Distress Ink over the entire surface of the seagulls.
Step Twelve. From the Seashell Dies, choose three. Die cut the three shells out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, lightly blend Tea Dye Distress Ink over the entire surface of one of the shells. Using a blending tool with foam, lightly blend Rusty Hinge Distress Ink over the entire surface of the second shell. Using a blending tool with foam, lightly blend Spun Sugar Distress Ink over the entire surface of the third shell.
Step Thirteen. From the Diving Accessories die, you’ll need the starfish. Die cut the starfish out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Dried Marigold Distress Ink over the entire surface of the starfish.
Step Fourteen. Adhere your lighthouse together using the full lighthouse from step four.
Step Fifteen. Adhere the 4 3/4″ square to the 5 1/4″ square.
Step Sixteen. Foam square the sand to bottom left side of the 4 3/4″ square. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the lighthouse slightly overtop of the sand.
Step Seventeen. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the starfish and three seashells as desired to the right of the lighthouse.
Step Eighteen. Foam square the sentiment fishtail 2″ from the top and all the way to the right hand side of the 4 3/4″ square. Adhere the two seagulls as desired around the top of the lighthouse.
Step Nineteen. Cut a card base out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 5 1/4″ x 10 1/2″, score at 5 1/4″. Adhere the card front to the card base.

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I am sharing a card using the new Under The Sea release. I have a fascination for Lighthouses and I try to visit them when I am on vacation. I was super excited that a Lighthouse was a part of this release. Below you will find the easy steps to create your own Oceans Of Joy.
Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)
Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Diecut Adventure Edges using a scrap piece of Cardstock. Place it on the trimmed Cardstock and apply ink to the edges to create clouds. Diecut Ocean Edges and now apply ink to the edges to create waves. Diecut Sea Weed (sand) and apply ink to the edges.
Step 3 – Diecut Stitched Rectangles using the background created in Step 2. Adhere to the front of the card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Step 4 – Diecut Lighthouse using White Soft Finish Cardstock. Colour in the pieces in colouring medium of your choice. Assemble using Kid’s Choice Glue and adhere to the card.
Step 5 – Stamp Splish Splash sentiment in the upper right side using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
Step 6 – Diecut Lighthouse (seagulls) and adhere to card using Kid’s Choice Glue.
Step 7 – Add some Transparent Craft Drops to the windows. Before it dries sprinkle Silk Microfine Glitter Warm Diamond. Let dry.
This card can be used for many occasions by changing the sentiment. It is also great for a masculine card. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone, it’s Sanna Lippert here again today with another card idea to share. I always keep a box of cards for various occasions ready and constantly keep on adding cards to the collection –– you never know when you need a handmade card! The cards I share today will be an addition to that particular card box.
And here is how they were made:
Step 1: Take the Adventure Edges and die cut a piece of white cardstock with the cloud edge die. Now you have a DIY stencil ready to be used!
Step 2: Place the DIY stencil onto a piece of white cardstock and wipe blue stamp ink onto the background with an ink blending tool along the edge of the cloud pattern. Move a few centimeters down and create a second row of clouds. Repeat throughout the background.
Step 3: Die cut grass from green Soft Finish Cardstock with the grass edge die. Adhere on place overlapping the layers.
Step 4: Take a piece of ModaScrap patterned paper from Fly & Scrap paper pack and die cut balloons from it. Adhere on place.
Step 5: Apply Clear Double Sided Adhesive onto a piece of light blue Soft Finish Cardstock and die cut the balloon strings and bows from it. Adhere on place.
Step 6: Stamp a sentiment with Build Your Own Sentiments 1 stamp set stamps and black stamp ink onto white Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut into a banner or use scissors for cutting. Adhere on place and the card is done.

This time, I made a pocket-page for the month February –– the month of love!!! First, I made a double page for every week. But, because the weeks are very much alike, I thought: “mmm no, I won’t do that anymore. I only scrap the highlight of the month.” And so, that’s what I did. ?
For this page, I used P.E. (Planner Essentials) 22 to make the pocket and with the P.E. 25 to make the little heart insert. On the edge of the page, I added some white gesso with a mask and stamped with the ECD stamp-set Background 1, 3 and Pieces of Life 1. I adhered the little faceted heart from P.E. 8 on the heart insert.
And behind the insert I made a shaker with little pink hearts in it. So funny!!
The backside of the page I made with P.E. 4 and I placed a pocket (P.E. Pocket 2) on it. I decorated it with different stamps from Pieces of Life 3. On top of the pocket I placed an insert for tags P.E. 2. The tags I made with the P.E. 26 Tag & Toppers. In one of the tags I also made a shaker –– it’s so much fun, I like these little extra’s.
In the big pocket I made a big tag and I stamped with black Stazon ink over the pictures.
I had so much fun making this page! I hope you are a little bit inspired by it.

Hey Friends! It’s EK popping in today to share are really fun shell shaped card featuring some of the new dies from Joset’s latest release. Not that long ago, a family-friendly movie came out with a giant crab who craved shiny things. It is also one of my teenager’s favorite ‘villains’ of all time. And when I look at the new Seashells die set, all I can see is that shiny loving crab. So today I thought I would create my own version of this greedy villain.
Step One: Die cut the seashell card frame from the new Oyster Shell Card with Pop Up die set from some Pale Peach Soft Finish Cardstock. Fold the card along the die cut scored line.
Step Two: Using a blending brush and some Distress Oxide, blend some Brushed Corduroy and Vintage Photo onto the seashell. Spritz with some water to create speckles on the seashell.
Step Three: Using some 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock die cut the pieces from the new Seashell die set.
Step Four: Blend some Distress Oxides onto the die cut pieces. I used a base of Brushed Corduroy on all the seashells and then added a touch of color for the rest. I used Tumbled Glass, Fossilized Amber, Abandoned Coral, Victorian Velvet and Crushed Olive to color the different shells. To color the crab body parts, I blended some Brick Red and Aged Mahogany. For the eyes and the ‘hole’ into the shell I used Walnut Stain and Black Soot.
Step Five: Using some Kids Choice Glue, adhere the pieces of the crab together.
Step Six: Using Kids Choice Glue, add the seashells and crab to the bottom of the shell card frame.
Step Seven: Add shiny baubles to the sea shells. I debated long and hard if I should use jewels, drops, sequins or the baubles, and in the end, I liked the colors of these. Finally I used a little Transparent Crystal Craft Drops for the eyes of the crab.
Step Eight: Finally stamp a sentiment from the Splish Splash Sentiments stamp set onto the shell frame. I used a little Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide to stamp the sentiment.
I hope you find my card as much fun as I do. My teenager has already stolen it and placed it on their pin board (I not surely full my teenager fully understand the purpose of a handmade card, but I love they they love it none the less).
