Step 3 – Place Planner Stencil 3 on top of the panel created in Step 2. Apply Versamark White Pearl Embossing Powder, remove the excess, heat set it with a heat tool. Adhere to card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 4 – Diecut Honey Bear using White Soft Finish Cardstock. Color the pieces using any color medium of your choice. I used Inks with a blender Brush. Assemble using Kids Choice Glue and adhere to card using Foam Tape.

Step 5 – Diecut Florals Mini’s using White Soft Finish Cardstock. Color the pieces using any color medium of your choice. I used Inks with a blender Brush. Assemble and adhere to card front Kids Choice Glue to the flower and Foam Tape to the single leaves.

Happy Birthday Pennants

August 31, 2022

Hello crafty friends, it’s Summer Hills-Painter here. I wanted to make a birthday slimline card using the words from the Birthday Flip Card die set.

Preparation:

From white cardstock, cut a slimline card base measuring 8 1/2″ x 7″. Along the 7″ side, score the card base at 3 1/2″. Cut the Happy Birthday from the Birthday Flip Card die set from colored cardstock of your choice. From the Party Time die set, cut some party hats from you favorite coordinating cardstock along with the paper fans from the same cardstock. Finally, cut a piece of twine from a coordinating color.

Instructions:
Using yellow ink and a blending brush, softly ink the center of the card.

Using black ink/paint, add splatters using a paint brush and acrylic block

String the twine across the top of the card. Be sure not to go too high as the can cause the party hats/pennants to go above the card. At thin foam tape to the pointed end of the pennants and adhere to the twine. Also at the thin foam tape to the bottom of the paper fans. The thin foam tape helps to compensate for the height added to these pieces from the twine

Adhere the Happy Birthday from the Birthday Flip Card die set. Optionally, you can add sequins to help finish the card

I hope you enjoyed creating this card with me today.

Happy Birthday Flip Card

August 4, 2022

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. If you struggle with Interactive Cards then the new Birthday Flip Card Dies will surprise you with how easy it is to put together. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Diecut Birthday Flip Card (Base Solid) using White Soft Finish Cardstock. Fold all the score lines where the diecut scored. You now have your base card.

Step 2 – Diecut Birthday Flip Card (Top and Bottom Shapes) using Patterned Paper of your choice. This is a great way to use up your stash. I added a little shading to the edges of the Patterned Paper then adhered to top and bottom of card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 3 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 4″ x 2 3/4″ and apply Ink of your choice using a Blender Brush. I used a Soft Green and Blue Ink. Diecut Birthday Flip Card (Panel). I saved the “Happy Birthday” diecuts for another time and adhered the panel to the front of the card using Kid’s Choice Glue.

Step 4 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ and apply Ink of your choice using a Blender Brush. I used a Soft Green and Blue Ink. Adhere to inside of card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 5 – Diecut Monster 3 using White Soft Finish Cardstock (or if you prefer coloured Cardstock). Color using medium of your choice. I used Inks. Assemble and adhere to inside of card using Kid’s Choice Glue.

Step 6 – Diecut Party Time (Party Horn) using White Soft Finish Cardstock. Color in using any medium of your choice. I used Copic Markers. Adhere to card using Kid’s Choice Glue making sure to slid into the opening of the mouth.

Happy Birthday Little Monster

July 19, 2022

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. I adore the new Monster Release from Joset Designs. It has 3 adorable Monsters and is a must have in your stash. I used the Monster 1, Party Time, Monster Hugs Sentiment Stamps and Dotted Background. Below is the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 7″ x 8 1/2″, score at 3 1/2″ and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Slimline)

Step 2 – Diecut Dotted Background Slimline using White Soft Finish. Insert the diecut back to the die but turn it and diecut again. There is very little overlap but that’s ok because it will be covered. Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″. Place the Dotted Background diecut and with any color medium mark the center in the color you will fill. Remove the diecut and now color in a circle. You can use the diecut to make sure the whole circle is colored. Assemble using Kid’s Choice Glue and adhere to card front using Kid’s Choice Glue.

Step 3 – Diecut Monster 1 using Colored Cardstock or White Soft Finish and color in using any medium of your choice. I used Copics in order to create some dimension. Assemble using Kid’s Choice Glue and adhere to card using Foam Tape.

Step 4 – Diecut Party Time (Balloons, Party Horn and Party Hat) again in Colored Cardstock or White Soft Finish and color in. Assemble and adhere to card.

Step 5 – Stamp Monster Hugs Sentiment using Versamark, sprinkle White Embossing Powder and remove the excess, and heat set it with a heat tool. Trim it out and adhere to card.

This card was so much fun to make and will make any child happy to receive it. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
