Hi there,
it’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this shaker card:
Step 1: Die Cutting
- cut out three flowers and their add-ons – two from pink and yellow cardstock and one from a stitched panel cut from white cardstock – use the Stitched Rectangles and the Tropical Florals die sets
- add some acetate behind the open flower window on the card panel with clear double-sided adhesive

Step 2: Adding Color
- use Distress Ink (Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick) and a Blending Brush to add color to the die-cuts
- add some splatters with watered-down Distress Ink too – Fossilized Amber to the flower stems and Peacock Feathers to the card panel

Step 3: Stamping the Sentiment and Assembly
- stamp the sentiment from the Beach Sentiments set with Distress Oxide Ink (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers) for an ombre look
- create a shaker element behind the flower opening with double-sided foam adhesive and fill it with pink sequins
- add a strip of pink cardstock and a strip of black and white patterned paper to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I hope you got inspired.
Hugs,
