Memories

August 2, 2018

Hi Friends, it’s Sandy Diller here to share a project that would be good as a keepsake or a gift.  I was in my local craft store a few weeks ago where I saw the cutest little box that contained a photo album.  I thought I would give it a try using my own measurements and decorations.  We recently took a trip to the beach so I thought this would be a good way to save some fun photos.

King of the Road

August 11, 2017

Hi friends and welcome, Mac and I are currently in the middle of our annual RV trip so naturally I have travel on the brain.  This time around I’m sharing a banner made using the great papers from ModaScrap along with Soft Finish Cardstock, and featuring dies from Joset Designs.  When I saw this fabulous travel-themed paper at my local scrapbook store I knew what I wanted to make.  I chose parts of the paper that depict places we have been in our motor coach and then embellished with die cuts that went with that theme.  I even wrote my own verses to the tune of the old Roger Miller song “King of the Road” that go along with motor coach travel.  You can see my lyrics by clicking on my name at the bottom of this post which will take you to my personal blog.  Enjoy.

Hello! It’s Suzanne here today with a fun summer card that will cheer anyone who receives it! (oh, wait, maybe that was the trip to Hawaii…..)

Here is how you can make it!

Shimmer Sheetz Summer Seashells

By Judi Kauffman

Hello, everyone. I’m glad to be back as today’s guest designer.

If it weren’t for seashells and how the sun looks over water at dawn and dusk, I’d probably never set foot on a beach! There. I’ve said it. I don’t venture onto the sand unless it’s my preferred time of day or a season other than summer. During the hours that others are baking themselves and cavorting in the water I’m happily indoors, listening to a book on tape and making cards. Continue Reading

Delftware Inspired Cards

April 26, 2016

Hi there! It’s Marsha here today, sharing some cards that were inspired by Delft Blue tiles!

Marsha Valk | Elizabeth Craft Designs: Delftware Inspired Cards

My mom and I visited the Dutch city Delft recently. And when you visit Delft, you can’t escape Delftware. It’s everywhere! So when I got home, I thought it would be fun to see if I could create a couple of Delftware style cards.

hi

It’s my turn to post a project on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today. Maybe it is the fact that where we live we are quickly approaching winter, but I seem to be drawn to the sea images lately.  I love this patterned paper from the Through the Lens Stone collection, I am not sure about you but when I look at it I see the ocean waves crashing into the sand on the beach. So of course I had to use this to create my beach themed card today.
