Beautiful Blooms Beautiful Blooms Cardmaking Craft Drops Stamping

Kindness Always Matters

January 30, 2022

Hi friends…Michelle here with my official post as part of the Elizabeth Crafts Design Ambassadors Team and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I decided to use the beautiful floral from the Kindness Stamp which is part of the Beautiful Blooms Collection for today.

Step 1: Stamp the flower outline and sentiment using black ink. Colour in the floral using your choice of alcohol markers. Use a stamp positioner if necessary, to ensure a good and clean impression.

Step 2: Cut out the sentiment and the flower using the coordinating dies either before or after you colour in the image. Without stamping the image, diecut 2 more of the flower, as these will be used to stack the 3 together for dimension.

Step 3 – Colour in the flower image using your choice of alcohol markers and add small dots to the coloured image using a white gel pen.

Step 4 – Place your chosen stencil (I used the Grid Pattern from the Earth Patterns Stencil Pack) and start to lightly and randomly ink blend over the stencil on a piece of white cardstock cut to 3.75″x5″.

Step 5 – Cut a random strip of black and white patterned paper and adhere to the left side of your stencilled cardstock and trim off any excess. Adhere 3 the flower diecuts together using a liquid adhesive and add foam adhesive to the back of the sentiment. Adhere all to your A2 cardbase using white craft foam.

I hope this has helped to inspire you and I wish you all a wonderful and craft day,

Beautiful Blooms- Forever

August 26, 2021

Hi Friends! It’s EK, and today I am back with a hand colored card featuring the one of the new Beautiful Blooms stamp sets from Sonia and Diane. I am just loving this stunning design with it’s loose sketchy lines and realistic look.

Step One: Using an alcohol marker friendly ink, stamp the large bird and sentiment onto a trimmed piece of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock.

Step Two: Color the image with an alcohol marker. I used copics. Around the edges of the cardstock, blend a dark blue water soluble ink. I used Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire. Splatter the edges with clean water to create droplets.

Step Three: Die cut the image with the Stitched Rounded Rectangle die set.

Step Four: Using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the focal image onto a piece of dark blue cardstock. Adhere both of these pieces to an A2 card frame.

Step Five: Add a couple of dollops of Craft Drops in Clear Transparent around the sentiment.

If you love to color, you have to check out this new line from ECD. The Beautiful Blooms line is a colorist’s dream with large images that are just meant to be colored. How would you color this bird? Let us know in the comments below. Until then, happy crafting.
