The Die Cut and Coloring Design Teams are back today with another fun Designer Challenge to share with you.
This time around our challenge is Gift Giving – There are many times throughout the year when we need to give a gift to someone …. Birthdays, Christmas, Teacher Thank You’s etc. Create something for today’s challenge that could be given as a gift, either completely handmade, or something purchased and then decorated to give it that special touch.
If you haven’t heard, Elizabeth Craft Designs has just released new products from Krista Schneider; Elizabeth Craft Designs and new licensed designer Becky Seddon. You can find all these on the Elizabeth Craft Designs online store. The ModaScrap stamps/dies two of our design team have used will also be available soon.
For our Challenge today we are giving away a $20 Gift Card to use on the Elizabeth Craft Designs website to 3 winners.
To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post below and answer this question: What are some homemade and crafty gifts you have created over the years?
We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing.
The winners will be announced on Friday, August 18th, here on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.
Now let’s take a look at the wonderful creations our talented Design Team have created for the Challenge this month. For more information about the cards, click on the designer’s name under each card to be taken to the designer’s blog post and will open up in a new window.
Hi everyone,
It’s Frances here and it’s my turn to post a tutorial today for the Die Cut Design Team. Today I decided to play with some of the new ModaScrap products, the Lace Corner and the Color of Puppies Girl Papers. I just love this new range of papers.
Hello My Dear Friends!
I am Pavitra here and welcome to the ECD blog. Today I have brought delicate Hydrangea for all of you from Susan’s Garden. These tiny wonders look so fabulous and nature provides them in so many beautiful colors.
I teamed the Hydrangea flowers with newly-released ModaScrap Oriental Card die to create an elegant card. When you have time, be sure to check out the new collections and other Susan’s Garden Dies here.
The finished card measures 10 x 6-1/2. Have a look!
Hello Everyone, this is Christine from Susan’s Garden Design Team and today is my turn to post on the Elizabeth Craft Design’s Blog. My project uses Susan’s Hydrangea die along with several other dies. My designer paper is a sheet that I have been saving for several years now. I can’t even remember where I bought it. Do you ever do that, buy some paper that you love and then not use it because you are afraid that you will not be able to get more? I have decided I need to use some of those papers!
Since spring is upon us here in Colorado and I can hear birds singing in the trees, a brightly colored bird card seemed like a great way to celebrate. In this project, the bird is adhered to clear fishing line that can be twisted before placing the card in an envelope to create a “spinning” surprise when pulled out. Colorful and fun!
Hi everyone,
It’s my turn to post a tutorial for the Die Cut Design Team. I love making cards that are a little different from the normal square or rectangular cards. Today I have used the Fishtail Borders die set from Els van de Burgt Studio to add a fishtail edge to my card. To decorate my card I used dies from Joset Designs and A Way With Words.
Hi Friends! Piyanki here today welcoming spring with my handmade bouquet. I am from India. Here, the city of Srinagar hosts the World’s Largest Tulip Garden in Asia. Tourists from all across the globe flock to this garden in the month of April. It is open for 21 days. I found a photo on Google to show you. If you ever visit India at that time of year it is a must-see!
Hi friends, it’s Sandy Diller here today. Have you ever had an idea that you just couldn’t let go of until you’ve made it? Well, that’s my project today. I issued a challenge to myself to make an Easter Bunny from Elizabeth Craft Designs dies in my collection that does not include a bunny. I’ve used lots of different shapes – hope you enjoy my “self-challenge.” If you decide to try it, I’d love to hear from you.
