A Way With Words Soft Finish Cardstock

Thoughts and Prayers Card

May 16, 2020

Hi there!  It’s Suzanne here today! Just when I think I’ve seen all the combinations of the A Way With Words, another one comes to mind.  Here is one…..

And here is how you can make it.

Instructions:

Form a 5 x 7” tent-fold card base from Lavender cardstock

Die cut Thoughts from Warm Thoughts from Lavender cardstock.  Die cut the Ampersand and Prayers from Dark Fuchia cardstock.  Die cut the Butterfly and two of the Flourishes from the Flourished Frame from White cardstock.

Use removable tape to adhere the Butterfly Kaleidoscope stencil to a piece of white Soft Finish cardstock.  Start blending Spun Sugar lightly across the stencil adding less colour in the middle.  Blend Wilted Violet  across patches of  stencil to blend with the Spun Sugar.  Trim this panel to 6” x 4” and cut a mat slightly larger from Dark Fuchia. Adhere together.

Blend some Wilted Violet across the top of the Thoughts diecut.  Blend some Spun Sugar on the tips of the Butterfly’s wings.

Adhere the word dies as shown.  Use a T-square to help you get them straight if necessary!

Adhere the butterfly and “fluff” its wings.

Use 3D Foam Squares at each corner to attach this panel to the cardbase.  Adhere the flourishes to the card base by sliding them under the decorated panel.

Send to someone who needs it! <3

Stay well and happy creating!
