Karen here today sharing a couple cards made with the cutest elves ever! They are a brand new release here at Elizabeth Craft Designs and, at this point, can only be found in your local scrapbook stores. I decided to use them with some pretty non-traditional patterned paper I recently got.
In this first card, I used the Holiday Elf-Hers Die to create the little girl elf. All of the colored pieces are cut with 90 lb White Soft Finish Cardstock. She is colored with:
- Face: Copics E000, E00, R21 with C7 eyes and white gel pen
- Hair: Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo
- Clothes: Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean.
- Snow Globe base: Tea Dye
Here’s a close-up to show her face. Isn’t she adorable?
The Snow Globe die is also new (available in stores)! I ran it three times. Once in White Soft Finish Cardstock (base), once in the pattern paper for the background and once in silver paper for the edges. How fun. The snowflake is from the Snow Globe Dies and is covered with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter.
I used the same process to make the boy card but used the Holiday Elf-His Dies.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Craftily yours, Karen
