Easter Bunny Pull Tab Mini Slimline Card

February 22, 2022

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. I have an Easter Bunny with Pull Tab card to share with you that is super fun using the new release from Joset Designs. The Bunny, Easter Basket and Pull Tab dies. Below are the easy steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)

Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 6”. Diecut Adventure Edges (cloud) using a scrap piece of cardstock. This will be used as a stencil to create layers of clouds. Place on the trimmed cardstock and using a Blender Brush apply Ink of your choice. I used Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass. Last layer should be 1 1/2” before the bottom. Add Ink of your choice in Green to the bottom of the cardstock. I used Distress Oxide Twisted Citron.

Step 3 – Diecut Pull Tabs using White Soft Finish Cardstock. I used the smaller set and trimmed off what I didn’t need. Be sure to add the thin triangle to the center of the panel created in Step 2. Insert the Pull Tab. You can add the top piece with the arrow. In my photo I originally used a Pink top piece but later changed it for Blue to go with my cloud background. Diecut the tab cutout at the top center of the panel.

Step 4 – Diecut Bunny in various colors of cardstock. Or you can diecut everything in White and color the pieces with any color medium of your choice. I chose the to color and used Copics. Assemble using Kid’s Choice Glue. I added an egg from the Easter Basket and added the arms to make it look like it was holding the egg. Adhere to the Tab of panel created from Step 2 using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Adhere the whole panel to the card front making sure not to use Tape too close to tab.

Step 5 – Diecut Easter Basket in various colors of cardstock. For all the pieces I added shading with my Copic Markers with the exception of the Basket. Assemble and adhere to card using Kid’s Choice Glue. Slip the Basket handle under the Bunny to be able to have the Bunny move freely.

Step 6 – Diecut Adventure Edges (grass) using Green Cardstock. Adhere to the bottom of card front using Kid’s Choice Glue.

Step 7 – Stamp Spring Sentiments to the inside of the card using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

This card can be used for other occasions by removing the eggs and changing the sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
