Hello crafty friends, it’s Summer Hills-Painter here. As Halloween approaches, it is time for me to start preparing class party favors. Here is a fun project that I came up with
Preparation:
Cut 1 Carrot Box from black cardstock. Randomly tear strips of white cardstock. Cut eyes from the Monster 1 die set. Die cut a label from the Planner Essentials – Halloween 3
Instructions:
Using a light grey ink, ink the edges of the torn cardstock strips. I prefer to use the rough edge of the cardstock as it gives a more clothlike appearance

On the treat box glue your eyes to the box, this will help with knowing where the strips will go in the next step

Randomly adhere the inked cardstock strips to one of the Carrot Box pieces. Make sure to cross the strips in different directions and trim off the excess

Adhere the die cut sentiment over the hole in the top of the box

Attach the other piece of the Carrot Box and voila, a super cute mummy treat box. Even the eyes from Monster 3 works well too.
