Hello crafty friends, it’s Summer Hills-Painter here. For today’s blog post, I am sharing a cute birthday card I made for a friend’s granddaughter.
Preparation:
Cut and assemble the Hippo from the Hippo/Rhino die set. Cut the second largest retectangle from the Indented Stitched Rectangles die from pink patterened cardstock. Cut an A2 card base from white cardstock. Cut a the second largest rectangle from white cardstock using the indented Rectangle die set. Cut the words “happy birthday” from Birthday Flip Card die set out of pink cardstock. Also cut the “i” a second time from the same pink cardstock
Instructions:
To create an “o”, lay the Happy Birthday die on the edge of your die cutting plate and run through your machine
Flip the cut out around and cut the other side
Adhere “Hippo Birthday” to the front of the white panel
Adhere the die cut hippo to the center of the white panel
Adhere the white panel to the pink patterned panel
adhere the pink panel to the A2 card base and the card is complete.
