Hi everyone,
It’s the Coloring Design Team’s turn to share their cards for this month’s Coloring Design Team Designer Challenge.
Our Challenge this month is ….. Sliders & Spinners – Using any of our stamp sets, create a card that slides or spins using the Joset Designs Slider & Spinners die set.
Els van de Burgt recently did a Technique Friday with Els video showing how to use this die set.
For our Challenge today we are giving away a Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set to 3 winners.
To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post below and answer this question: What Elizabeth Craft Designs image would you make spin or slide?
We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing.
The winners will be announced on Friday, May 19, here on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.
Now let’s take a look at the wonderful creations our talented Design Team have created for the Challenge this month. For more information about the cards, click on the designer’s name under each card to be taken to the designer’s blog post and will open up in a new window.
Tina Guigui Dornbaum starts us off this month with this adorable “bird-day” card where she used the Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set for the balloon. Tina also used the Krista Schneider Bird-day Party clear stamps with coordinating dies to create her card. For the layers of her card she chose the Stitched Rectangles from Els van de Burgt Studio.
Karen Nofziger created the cute card above using the Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. Karen used the new ModaScrap Manly Man Designer Papers for all the various layers on her card. For the Slider part of her card she added the cute bear from the Krista Schneider Zoo Babies Clear Stamps and the coordinating dies, a sentiment from the Joset Designs Dream Sentiments Clear Stamp set and a border using the Bead Strings 2 die set from Els van de Burgt Studio.
Elena Anderson created this colorful lucky ladybug card using the Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. If you look closely you can see the channel the spinner goes in near the larger of the ladybugs on the left side of the card. For the background of her card Elena used the Krista Schneider Spring Blooms Clear Stamp set. She also used the Ladybugs die set and Stitched Rectangles die set both from Els van de Burgt Studio. The sentiment is from the Joset Designs General Sentiments Clear Stamp set. Elena used Soft Finish Cardstock in White, Rich Black and Ladybug Red to create her card.
Melanie Smith created the colorful card above and it will definitely make you smile! Melanie used Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set and the Krista Schneider Feather Friends Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies. To finish off her card she used the Smile sentiment die from Els van de Burgt Studiio.
Selma Stevenson created this adorable cheeky monkey card using the Krista Schneider Jungle Cuties Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies and the Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. Selma also used the Dotted Scallop Ovals from Els van de Burgt Studio and the ModaScrap Leafy Branch 5 die set. She added a sentiment from the Joset Designs General Sentiments Clear Stamps set and used White Soft Finish Cardstock for the construction of her card.
Kelly Booth created this pretty pastel card using the Krista Schneider Feathered Friends Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies and the Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. Kelly used Soft Finish Cardstock to create her card and the A Way with Words – Thanks sentiment die.
Anita Kejriwal created this adorable birthday spinner card using Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. To decorate her card Anita used Krista Schneider’s Zoo Babies & Bird-day Party Clear Stamp sets with coordinating dies. She also used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Joset Designs General Sentiments Clear Stamp set.
Finally, Frances Byrne shares two cards she created – one that slides and one that spins using the Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. For her first card Frances used the Krista Schneider Zoo Babies Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies to create a Hidden Slider Card. The slider portion of the card is hidden underneath the panel at the bottom of the card. Pull the white tab on the right hand side of the card to reveal a message. Frances also used the ModaScrap Romantic Corners; the Stitched Rectangles and Dotted Scallop Rectangles from Els van de Burgt Studio and the Pop it Ups Baby Clear Stamp set. Frances used the ModaScrap My Little Girl Paper Pack to create her card.
For her second card Frances created a Spinner Card using the Joset Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. Frances chose the Krista Schneider Honey Bear Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies to create her card. Shes used White Soft Finish Cardstock for the base of her card sponging the clouds using the Behind the Scenes Earth & Sky Stencil. The layers were created using the Stitched Rectangles and Dotted Scallop Rectangles from Els van de Burgt Studio. To create the grass Frances used the CountryScapes Clouds & Grass die set to cut paper from the new ModaScrap Cucino with Love Paper Pack.
