Hello out there my crafty friends. It is Christine here from Susan’s Garden Design Team. Today I am posting a card I made featuring Susan’s Garden Notes Pansy die along with her Garden Notes Ivy Vine. The color of the pansies comes from a photo I saw on Facebook last year that I fell in love with and the wooden box is because I love rustic, primitive things.
Spring Lilacs
April 5, 2017Spring has finally arrived and soon the air will be filled with the wonderful fragrance of lilacs. We can create realistic lilacs for our cards and other projects using Susan’s Garden Notes Lilac die set. Using the A Way With Words 4-Seasons die set we can complete a perfect Spring card. Here is how this card was created.
Congratulations!
March 29, 2017Hi Friends! Piyanki here today welcoming spring with my handmade bouquet. I am from India. Here, the city of Srinagar hosts the World’s Largest Tulip Garden in Asia. Tourists from all across the globe flock to this garden in the month of April. It is open for 21 days. I found a photo on Google to show you. If you ever visit India at that time of year it is a must-see!
Tiger Lily Birthday Card
March 28, 2017Dear Friends,
Shalini Pahwa here. A birthday is one of the most important and eagerly awaited days of the year for all of us. Even in this age of advanced technology with a plethora of options for communicating and sending gifts, I still feel that a bouquet of flowers, delivered with a personal message, is the best way to deliver birthday wishes. But if there is a distance between you and your loved one, a card with a bouquet of beautiful handmade paper flowers is a wonderful way to express your emotions – and it is sure to become a cherished gift.
Hello to all,
Welcome to Susan’s Garden. This is Anita here and I am so happy to present to you a card made with some of the beautiful dies from Susan Tierney-Cockburn.
Today I have beautiful tulips in a pottery pitcher. I love the way this card turned out. I tried a new colouring technique and I think it gives a very realistic look to the flowers and leaves.
Here’s how it looks:
“Like an old photograph
Time can make a feeling fade
But the memory . . .
Never fades away.”
Hello Dear Friends, Shalini Pahwa here and welcome to my first post on the ECD blog. I’m super excited to be here. The above lyrics from American singer, songwriter and actor Tim McGraw are the essence of my latest creation. I have made this from an old hollowed-out table clock and I chose faded, antique looking colors to give it a worn look. I decorated it with flowers made with dies from the exquisite Susan’s Garden Club collection. This creation of mine is a reflection of what one really wants to hold onto in life – the reminiscence of good times past, incorporating those experiences and what we have learned from them into the present.

Hi Everyone. It’s Tina here. I am super excited to be presenting as a Guest Designer for Elizabeth Craft Designs today. When selecting which product I was going to use I instantly knew I had to create a card with the Garden Notes Grapevine Wreath Oval die. Here is my card (6×6 folder card).
