Hey Everyone! It’s EK, and I am popping in with a little black and white number today. It is amazing how keeping your color pallate simple, you can create a project with tons of impact. There is just something so classic about black and white, the sentiment dies from Suzanne really shine.
Step One: Trim a piece of black card stock to 4.25×5.5 inches. Layer with 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive. I used my crafting surface to help up the adhesive.
Step Two: Trim off excess tape and die cut cardstock with Stitched Indented Rectangle die set.
Step Three: Peel off top adhesive paper and pour Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter over it.
Step Four: Adhere cardstock to an A2 card frame using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
Step Five: Die cut A Way With Words You Are Perfect die set twice, once in black and once in white 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock.
Step Six: Adhere the white die cut over the black die cut and adhere both to the cardstock using liquid adhesive. I used Kids Choice Glue.
Step Seven: Finally add a few Craft Drops in White to the project. I used the drops to hide my glue flaws.
I know this card is incredibly simply but I feel it is in itself just perfect. Let us know in the comments below if you like using a black and white color palette as well. Until then, happy crafting.
Hey Friends! It’s EK and I am back with a few mixed media cards. The holidays may be over, but it is time to send out thank you notes to all those who blessed us with their kindness. So today, I pulled out my gel plate and several of Ilse and Charlene’s stencils and stamps to create these thank you cards.
Step One: Using a gel plate, brayer, and some paint in tones of beige, prep the plate. I used Distress Paint in Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.
Step Two: Lay the Dot Dot Dot… stencil over the beige ink. I was able to make four prints from this process. The first is the cleaning of the brayer, the second is cleaning off the stencil, the third is a piece of paper laid on both the plate and stencil and the fourth is the paint left on the plate after the stencil was lifted.
Step Three: Repeat step one and two this time using green paint and the Waves stencil. I used Shabby Shutters and Cracked Pistachio Distress Paint.
Each piece of 5.5×8.5 inch piece of cardstock was treated with the exact same techniques as the first time.
Step Four: Repeat steps one and two with red paint and the Dot Dot Dot… stencil again. I used Festive Berries and Abandoned Coral Distress Paint.
Step Five: Die cut two of the prints with the Stitched Hexagons die set.
Step Six: Die cut the second two prints with the Stitched Rounded Rectangle die set.
Step Seven: Using the left over prints, stamp the sentiment from the Journaling Elements stamp set in black water resistant ink.
Step Eight: Die cut the sentiment with the Fitted Fishtails die set. The tails will be trimmed off, but the shape and size were perfect for the sentiment.
Step Nine: Prepare two more prints using the Make Your Mark stencil. I used Bundled Sage and Cracked Pistachio Distress Paint.
Step Ten: Stamp four times some holly from the Oh the Joy of Christmas stamp set.
Step Eleven: Add red liquid coloring to the boys. I used Distress Stain in Fired Brick.
Step Twelve: Fussy cut out the holly.
Step Thirteen: Prepare four A2 card frames. Blend ink around the edges of the card frames. I used Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxides. Using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the die cut prints onto the card frames.
Step Fourteen: Stamp an image of a girl onto the prints. I used the Funky Chicks stamp set.
Step Fifteen: Using a liquid adhesive, adhere the fussy cut holly to the card frame. I used Kids Choice Glue.
Step Sixteen: Using three dimensional tape add the print with the sentiment to the card frame.
Step Seventeen: Add some liquid color to the eyes and lips of the stamped girl. I used Peeled Paint and Fired Brick Distress Stains. Add a highlight of white to the eyes.

Christmas may be over, but that doesn’t mean the need for a few more holiday thank you cards is done. Today I have whipped up four holiday thank notes for family members who thought of us this year.
Step One: Using Elizabeth Craft Designs Watercolor Palette, lay down a layer of color onto some watercolor paper. Each color spot has two or three different colors to create the spot.
Step Two: Die cut the color spots using both A Way With Words Flourished Christmas Minis and Flourished Christmas Minis 2.
Step Three: Using 90lb Soft Finished Cardstock, die cut A Way With Words Family four times.
Step Four: Trim a piece of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock to 4.25×5.5 inches to create four backgrounds of the cards. Blend Distress Oxides around the edges using the darkest on the outside and going lighter to the the middle. I used Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Speckled Egg.
Step Five: Repeat four each of the four backgrounds.
Step Six: Spray and splatter the cardstock with a silver shimmer spray.
Step Seven: Die cut the four background pieces with the Stitched Rounded Rectangle die set.
Step Eight: Using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the background to an A2 card frame.
Step Nine: Using a stamping platform, add the sentiments to the four card frames. I used both the Love & Hearts Collection stamp set and the Build Your Own Sentiments 1 stamp set.
Step Ten: Using Kids Choice Glue, adhere both the Family die cut and Minis to the four card frames.
Step Eleven: Add little heart flourishes from the Love & Hearts Collection stamp set to the four cards.
Step Twelve: Add Metallic Silver Craft drops to the four cards.
I love how each of these cards came out, looking a lot like winter with just a touch of the lingering holidays.

To create these: Step 1 – select your pinecone and add snow paste to the edges Step 2 – create 3 poinsettia’s using the Christmas Accents die set, ink edges, add glitter to edges and assemble with one large leaf Step 3 – die cut many different pieces using different shades of green cardstock from the Create A Wreath, ink edges and use the red craft drops for berries and allow to dry Step 4 – glue a loop of ribbon onto the top of the acorns to create the hanger
Reindeer tag Step 1 – die cut a tag (using your favorite ECD tag die) and ink the edges and add a loop of ribbon Step 2 – die cut Holly Jolly from Planner Essentials 15 using Double Sided Adhesive Sheets, add True Red Silk Microfine Glitter and adhere to the tag Step 3- die cut, ink edges and assemble the Reindeer and adhere to the tag Step 4 – adhere the tag to the pinecone
Step 5 – Adhere some of the wreath pieces cascading from the top of the pinecone Step 6 – Tie a bow and adhere to the top of pinecone Step 7 – add one of the completed poinsettias and add more snow texture paste
Birdhouse Step 1 – die cut, ink and assemble the Holiday Bird House using double sided adhesive and Cool Diamond Silk Mircrofine Glitter for the snow and Craft Drops for the lights Step 2 – adhere a piece of ribbon to the back of the house and adhere the other side to the top of the pine cone
Step 3 – adhere in a falling cascade some of the wreath pieces you previously die cut Step 4 – adhere one of the assembled poinsettias to the top of the pine cone and add more snow texture paste
Jingle Bell Step 1 – loop a piece of ribbon through the top of the jingle bell that you added some snow texture to, so it hangs slightly below the pine cone
Step 2 – die cut a gift from the Flourished Christmas Minis using cardstock (ink the edges) and double sided adhesive and glitter and assemble with a loop of ribbon and adhere to cone
Step 3 – cascade many pieces of the wreath that you die cut earlier, overlapping as needed Step 4 – add a poinsettia to the top
Step 5 – add more snow texture Step 6 – add your recipients name to the ornaments

Hello and Happy Holidays, it’s Sandy Diller here with a fun project that lights up to add some cheer. I used the Create A Wreath die set to add a festive feel to this canvas. I got this preprinted canvas at my favorite big box craft store and I’ve had it in my stash for quite some time – it measures 8″ square and is 2″ wide.The first thing I did was to add some gold embossing powder to the edges. I did this by placing VersaMark ink around the edges in a random pattern. I then added gold embossing power to the ink, knocked off the excess and then heat set the power with a heat gun.
I cut a circle using two dies from the fitted circles to make a pattern. I knew I could never make a perfect circle without a guide. I glued the guide to the center of the canvas and then began making some small holes for the lights to poke through. I used the Tim Holtz Tiny Lights and there are 20 lights on the string that is battery operated.
The next step was to cut all the branches and leaves. I cut 18 of each from the set. On the branches I added some craft drops that I made previously. I love using the craft dots but hate waiting for them to dry. I save the release paper from my ECD Double Sided Adhesive and then use it to make my drops ahead of time. Once the drops are dry they come right off the paper and then can be glued onto the project. By doing it this way, everything is where you want it with no boo boos.
I poked the lights into the holes and then used a small amount of hot glue to hold them in place. I first tried tape but it didn’t stick to the canvas. It’s not pretty but it gets the job done.
I layered the leaves on the guide, placed a Merry Christmas in the center that was first cut from fun foam to give it dimension and then added a Merry Christmas that was cut from hand made glitter paper – created using the Silk Microfine Glitter and double sided adhesive. I finished it off with a festive bow.
Hey Everyone! It’s EK and I created two Christmas cards today using a bit of spring flavor. I just adore Mandala’s and was wondering if I could make it Charlene and Isle’s Spring Flower Mandala stencil work for a holiday card. So it turns out, you can.
Step One: Securely lay the Spring Flower Mandala stencil over a piece of trimmed watercolor paper.
Step Two: Spray several coordinating ink colors over the stencil. I used Speckled Egg, Weathered Wood, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Spray. Before lifting the stencil up, take a second piece of trimmed watercolor paper over the extra ink.
Step Three: Carefully life the stencil and let both pieces of watercolor paper dry. You get with this technique both a positive and negative print of the stencil.
Step Four: Die cut both pieces of watercolor paper with one of the Stitched Indented Rectangle die set dies.
Step Five: Using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the watercolor paper to an A2 cardframe.
Step Six: Using both a piece of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock, stamp images from both Oh the Joy of Christmas and Christmas Garden with alcohol ink friendly ink.
Step Seven: Color the images with alcohol ink. I used copics.
Step Eight: Fussy cut the images out.
Step Nine: Using both 6mm and 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the stamped images onto one of the cards.
Step Ten: Stamp a sentiment from the Classic Christmas Sentiments stamp set onto the card using both red and black ink.
Step Eleven: Finish the card using both Pearl Olive and Pearl Rose Craft Drops.
Step Twelve: Repeat steps nine through eleven using the other images and card.

Hi Friends! It’s EK and I am popping in with a trio of cards featuring A Way with Words Flourished Christmas Minis 2. These three cards were all using the same techniques but ended up with different looks due to the different A Way With Words sentiments I picked.
Step One: Using 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock, blend water soluble ink over the paper. I used Distress Oxides. Splatter wet ink over the cardstock. Add a spray of Shimmer Spray.
Step Two: Repeat step one with two other pieces of cardstock. I used the new trio of Distress Oxides, Rustic Wilderness, Crackling Campfire, and Speckled Egg to create these looks.
Step Three: Die cut the A Way With Words Flourished Christmas Minis 2 out of Clear Double Side Adhesive Sheets. (I have recently mastered Clear Double Sided Adhesive die cut and adhere without applying the sheet to a piece of cardstock prior!)
Step Four: Peel off the brown side of the Clear Double Sided Adhesive Sheet and adhere it to your project. Then Peel off the slick top paper.
Step Five: Adhere a substance to the Clear Double Sided Adhesive. I used Nuvo Gilding Flakes.
Step Six: Using a stiff brush, rub off the excess substance.
Step Seven: Repeat steps five-six with the other cardstocks.
Step Eight: Die cut your cardstock and adhere the pieces to A2 card frames using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive. I used both Stitched Indented Rectangle die set and Stitched Rounded Rectangle die set.
Step Nine: Using more Clear Double Sided Adhesive Sheets, die cut A Way With Words sentiments. I used A Way With Words Peace on Earth, Merry Christmas, and Cheers.
Step Ten: Peel and stick the sentiments to the card frames.
Step Eleven: Add Silk Microfine Glitter to the sentiments. I used Sea Glass Silk Microfine Glitter for the sentiment and Cook Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter for the star.
I used Bright Cranberry Silk Microfine Glitter for the flourish card.
I used Imperial Garnet Silk Microfine Glitter for the sentiment on tree card, Sea Glass Silk Microfine Glitter for the ornaments, and Solar Gold Silk Microfine Glitter for the star.
Step Twelve: Finally, add Craft Drops to the cards. I used Pearl Rose on the orange card.
I used both Metallic Gold and White for the Speckled Egg card.
I used Metallic Gold and Pearl Olive Craft Drops on the green card.

it’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this rustic Christmas Door Card.
Step 1: Creating the Door
cut out the door from the Christmas Door die set from kraft cardstock with and without a woodgrain texture
add shading and splatters with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Wild Honey)
Step 2: Cut and Color the Decorations
cut out the little tree, the pot and the snow from the Christmas Door die set and some parcels from the Santa’s Sleigh die set from patterned paper, green cardstock and from white cardstock
color the elements with Alcohol Markers and add shading with Distress Ink (Pine Needles, Hickory Smoke)
Step 3: Assembly of the Card
cover a cardbase with patterned paper
cut out the Merry Christmas Small from silver foiled cardstock and ink up the bottom with Distress Ink Black Soot

Hello everyone, it´s Sanna Lippert here again today with my monthly guest design team project. This time, I wanted to create a few Christmas present tags that are fast and easy to make and thus perfect if you need to make plenty!
And this is how I created the tags:
Step 1: Take light blue (or another color you prefer) Soft Finish Cardstock and die cut rounded rectangular pieces from the cardstock with your die cutting machine. Step 2: Adhere Clear Double Sided Adhesive on a piece of Worn Wood patterned paper (pick a wooden pattern of your choice) and die cut the paper with the Sled die cut die. Step 3: Now take a piece of light pink paper (for example from the Christmas Holidays paper pack) and die cut the tiny flowers from that paricular paper.
Step 4: Take another piece of Worn Wood (preferably pick another color for additional contrast) paper and die cut the upper tag pieces from that paper of your choice. Step 5: Add pink Distress Ink around the edges of the die cut flowers for more contrast. Then adhere all pieces together/in place. Step 6: Take a piece of (light) brown Soft Finish Carstock and using the Winter Sentiments stamp set, stamp and heat emboss the sentiment using white embossing powder. Fussy cut to a banner and adhere on place. Finish off with Craft Drops (alternatively use half pearls or rhinestones) and a piece of ribbon.
I´ve again also recorded a start-to-finish video for you to watch to give a better idea on each and every step. I hope you enjoy it!
This tag idea is so simple that you can die cut several tags at once and make plenty of Christmas present tags at once. You could even sit down with your children and craft together with them. And if you change the colours, they will again look different with the same basic idea.

Hello and Welcome! Samantha here today, sharing this fun summer strawberry card. This is one of Elizabeth Craft Designs new releases which I paired up with the Beach Sentiments stamp set. I’ve had glimpses of hot summer weather and it’s put me in the mood to share this inspiration with you.
Card Instructions:
Step 1: Cut a card front using light pink card measuring 10.5cm x 15.5cm.
Step 2: Die cut the strawberries die with the following pieces of card stock:
Stems: Light green card
Leaves: Dark blue/green card
Strawberries: Various shades of pink card and corrugated pink cardstock
Strawberry Leaf: Dark Green corrugated card
Flowers: Light pink card
Step 3: Arrange and adhere the green stems onto the card front, leaving room for the sentiment.
Step 4: Stamp the sentiment using black ink.
Step 5: Optional: Add machine stitched detail.
Step 6: Arrange and adhere the 3x large leaves onto the card front.
Step 7: Use foam tape to adhere the strawberries/Strawberry leaves onto the card front – arranged in a way that they appear to be dangling off their leaves.
Step 8: Embellish the card with the light pink flowers, a few sequins and a pink twine bow. Adhere the card front to an A6 card base.
Step 9: Lastly, adhere Clear Double Sided adhesive to a small piece of cardstock. Remove the release sheet to expose the adhesive layer and apply a generous amount of Silk Microfine Glitter (Silver). Brush off excess glitter and return it to the jar, then polish with a fingertip to bring out the maximum sparkle. Use this glitter card to die cut the small circles that adhere to the middle of each flower.
It’s a very happy card and the pink strawberries (versus red) are a nice compliment to the blue/greens in this card. Hope you enjoyed my card tutorial today.
