Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. This winter has been long and I am dreaming of Spring. Since Easter and Spring are around the corner I decided to create a Chick celebrating Spring.
Below you will find the steps to create your own Sassy Chick Spring Fever card.
Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish cardstock 110lbs 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ and fold for a vertical side fold card.
Step 2 – Diecut Garden Notes Frame It – Stitched Circles to the center front of card.
Step 3 – On a scrap piece of cardstock ink Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn. Diecut Tree (grass die). Diecut Adventure Edges (Clouds die) on scrap piece of cardstock. Use the diecut as a stencil using an mini ink blending tool and add Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass. Adhere the grass on the bottom of the clouds and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with the clouds showing on the front of card.
Step 4 – Diecut Little Chick using White Soft Finish cardstock. Color the pieces and assemble using Kids Choice Glue. Cut a slit on the left wing. Diecut Party Accessories (Balloon and string) and assemble. Adhere to card placing the string through the slit. Diecut Party Accessories (glasses) and adhere to Little Click.
Step 5 – Stamp Spring sentiments using Versafine Onyx Black Ink to the bottom of the card.
Step 6 – Diecut Spring Basket (flowers & grass patches) color in and adhere to card.
Step 7 – For added interest apply Glossy Accents to the balloon and glasses. Be sure to let it dry thoroughly.
