Just A Note Card

June 16, 2023

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. It’s been a while since I made some flowers and when I created my card I realized how much I missed making them. The Florals 23 was super easy to make and assemble. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish to 4 1/2″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″ and fold in half for a horizontal top fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Apply various inks of color onto a Gel Plate. (I used yellow, orange and pink colors). Spread the inks using a brayer. Place Planner Stencil 3 on top of the inks and the place a White Soft Finish cardstock trimmed to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. Remove the cardstock and let it dry.

Step 3 – Diecut Fitted Indented Rectangle using the panel created from Step 2. Adhere to card front using Foam Tape.

Step 4 – Diecut Florals 23 using White Soft Finish. Color in using a Medium of your choice. I used inks with a Blending Brush. Assemble using Kids Choice Glue. Optional: Sprinkle a Metallic Paint to add some shimmer and shine. Adhere to card using Kids Choice Glue.

Step 5 – Stamp With Love Sentiment onto White Soft Finish Cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Diecut Fitted Fishtails to the sentiment. Adhere to card front using Kids Choice Glue.

This card can be used for various occasions by changing the colors and/or sentiment. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Welcome Little One

April 4, 2023

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. I needed a card for a new baby card but found myself with no specific dies or stamps. I looked through my Elizabeth Crafts Design stash and came up with the following. Below are the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, score at 5 1/2″ and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Place Planner Stencil 3 on top of the panel to create some interest. Use a blender Brush to apply ink directly on the stencil.

Step 3 – Diecut Fitted Rectangles using the panel created in Step 2.

Step 4 – Stamp Life Is Better On The Farm Sentiments using Versafine Onyx Black Ink directly on the panel created in Step 2. Adhere to card using Foam Tape.

Step 5 – Diecut Ducks using various colors of cardstock. Assemble and add some highlights using an alcohol marker. I used Copics for some shading. Adhere to card using Kids Choice Glue.

When you lack specific dies and or stamps don’t hesitate to look through your stash. Most likely you have something that will create the card that you need. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
