It’s Karen here today. I’m not normally a Halloween craft creator, but with this amazing new release from Joset, I honestly can’t resist. So many fun ideas! Today, I’m sharing a card inspired by my crafty mentor and dear friend Sharon.
To create this card, start with a piece of 90 lb White Soft Finish Cardstock and cut it in half to 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″. Scored it and fold it down the middle. Cut the other half into two pieces at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
With one of the 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2 pieces, I first added a mask made with the smallest size Fitted Circle die. Then, I added Distress Oxide inks as follows:
Then, cut the panel with the Stitched Indented Rectangle die (2nd largest one) to create the card front.
With the other 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Soft Finish cardstock, apply 101mm Double Sided Adhesive to the top and bottom of the paper. Then die cut the Spider Web dies (the web itself and one of the spiders).
Cover the web with Antique Silver Silk Microfine Glitter and the spider with Basic Black Silk Microfine Glitter. So glimmery and good!
Finish it off by stamping the “spooky” sentiment from the Spooky Sentiments set, fussy cutting the sentiment out and adding it to a purple label cut from Labels 1. Add that to the card.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Craftily yours,
Karen
