Joset Designs

My heart’s on fire!

February 10, 2022

Hello all, It’s Jackie here today with this super cute design using some Joset’s die’s, I have only just added the jeep to my collection so I had to have a play with it. As Valentine’s day is only a few days away you may just have time to create this design for a loved one, so let’s get started.

Step 1

Die cut all the pieces for the boy and girl using the farmer and fairy 2, I have chosen to use coloured cardstock and gently ink around the edges with similar colours. You will not need all the parts as some of the girl and boy will be hidden behind the jeep.

Step 2

Next die cut all the parts for the jeep, you can die cut some of the pieces more than once and stack them together for a more dimensional look, I stacked the main pink body and the bumper twice and the front grill piece three times.

Step 3

Stamp out a heart pattern all over the main body of the jeep, set the bumper to one side then build the rest as normal.

Step 4

Stamp out the bumper sentiment using sticky embossing ink, sprinkle with white embossing powder and set with a heat tool.

Step 5

Create an inked background, here I have used distress oxides worn lipstick, squeezed lemonade and iced spruce. Use the largest of the fitted rounded squares die’s to cut a panel that will fit a white card blank measuring approximately 5.25 x 5.25″

Step 6

Fix the background panel to the card front using 3d foam pads, add the boy and girl using a few more foam pads behind their heads. Add the jeep on top using even more foam pads, this is quite a dimensional card.

Although I have made this a love card you could easily switch up the sentiment to suit a number of other occasions. Thank you for stopping by today, I hope I have inspired you to have a go – Happy crafting Jackie.
