Hi Everyone! Irina here today with my first blogpost for Elizabeth Craft Designs. For today’s project I created a card with a rotating element. For this card I used the beautiful Florals 14 and design paper Rainbow of Happiness. A couple of years ago I made a card like this, and I thought it would be great with the new paper flowers! I will explain step by step how I made this card.
Start with a piece of cardstock from 8 x 5 inch and score at 4 inch.
Cut your design paper 4 7/8 x 3 7/8 and glue it on the front.
Take a cirkle die from about 2,5 inch and centre it on the front.
Run it trough your die cutting machine. Be sure you don’t throw away the circle because we need that part later.
Take another piece of cardstock 8 x 5 inch. Score at 2, 4 and 6 inch. Fold it as you see in the picture.
Glue the first part on your card base as in the picture.
Glue the second part as in the picture above.
Now it looks like this.
Put glue only on the right side. Take your cirkle and glue it down there.
Be sure you have glued only one side. Now it looks like this.
Blend your flower and glue it together.
Glue it on the cirkle.
Take a nice sentiment to add on your card.
I also made a short instruction video on YouTube.
I hope you enjoyed making this card! Thanks for reading and watching the blog.
