Hello Everyone.. Jackie here today with my latest design using Joset’s wonderful dies. I have been inspired by the Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrations soon to be here in the U.K. but this can easily be switched up to suit any occasion.
Step One:
Create a frame using the stitched indented square dies by nesting two together secured with a little piece of tape then die cut out a black frame. The outside of this frame measures 12x12cm
Step Two:
Cut a Square of gold glitter card measuring 12x12cm, draw a square on the reverse side measuring 10x10cm then carefully cut this out creating another frame.
Step Three:
Next take a 15x15cm textured card blank (or smooth if you prefer) then stamp out the ticker tape mainly in the centre then softly colour with coloured pencils.
Step Four:
Add the glittered frame first at a slight angle using 1mm foam pads then add the black frame on top again with a slight angle.
Step Five:
Build the characters in the colours of your choice, I have added detail to the shield using a white gel pen and also white dots on their eyes. Fix them to the card front using 2mm foam pads.
Step Six:
Add a Sentiment to the left hand side, If you don’t have a sentiment for your occasion then you could hand write one yourself.
That’s it for this time, I hope I have inspired you to have a go at this design! Happy crafting – Jackie
