Hello all – Jackie here today and I am so excited to share these brand new die’s from Joset. They are so super cute and if you are lucky enough to grab all three monster sets they will mix and match with each other perfectly so the possibilities are endless.
Step One:
Start by inking a scrap piece of card with three different coloured inks, here I have used distress oxide inks but there are many other water reactive inks that will work for this technic. Once you are happy with the blending then splash a bit of water on top and set aside to dry.
Step Two:
Cut the inked panel down to approximately 12.5mm/4.78″ square then fix to the front of a top folding 13.5mm/5.25″ card blank using 3d foam pads.
Step Three:
Next create the planet. Hand draw and cut out a planet shape with craters then add some grey ink especially around the top part then add a few splashes of grey paint to add a bit of extra detail, fix toward the bottom of the card using more 3d foam pads. I have chosen to make mine at at jaunty uneven angle which might not be to everyone’s liking so feel free to make yours straight.
Step Four:
Build the characters as you would like them to look then adhere these in place using a few more 3d foam pads.
Step Five:
White heat emboss the sentiment onto black card then trim down and attach to the card front with (yes you’ve got it) 3d foam pads – I do love a foam pad!
