Bee-utiful buzy bee

August 24, 2022

Hi everyone, Jackie here today with a monster mash up! I have used all three monster die set’s to create this super Bee-utiful buzy bee card.

Step One:

First create the background using the hexagon stencil and yellow ink, gently ink through the stencil with a sponge dauber leaving a small amount of white around the edges.

Step Two:

Next build the bee. I have listed which die’s you will need but you can change any for what you have in your stash. Ink around the yellow parts with dark yellow ink.

Head – Monster 3

Legs, Arms and Eyes – Monster 1

Wings and Body – Monster 2

Antenna – Party Time

For the bee body, use the largest body die from Monster 2 to draw around and fussy cut out (I did not want the circular pattern embossed onto the piece) use the same die to draw around again this time into black card then trim three bands as shown in the photo.

Step Three:

Die cut the antenna twice then add some glossy accents or clear 3d glue then once dry fix to the bees head.

Step Four:

Die cut a a stitched rectangle and layer onto a top folding A2 card blank using 3d foam pads. Next die cut a gold frame. Lay two hexagon dies one inside the other then secure together with a small piece of washi tape.

Step Five:

Stamp out and white heat emboss the sentiment onto black card then trim down and fix in place on the card front using 3d foam pads, add a few gold gems to finish.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have been inspired to have a go at creating a new creature from these fabulous monster die’s. Until next time happy creating – Jackie x
