Happy Friday all, Katie here with todays blog post. Well its seams like I am still on the bug kick so todays post is about the bees! So grab a coffee and I will walk you through this fun slimline card!
Step 1: Cut your bees, strawberries, leaves and flowers from your choose of card stock. Ink your edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Cut your wings from vellum cardstock and assemble. I inked the cheeks with light pink ink and dotted with a white gel pen.
Step 2: Create your slimline base, I used an older slimline die from photoplay and cut out my page from designer paper. Next, I added some vellum behind the circles and a background paper behind the image and attached to a white card stock base.
Step 3: Once your card is assembled, pop-dot your bee’s, then add your strawberries and your stamped word quote.
Step 4: I covered the bees faces with some scrap paper, then I speckled my card with heavy acyclic paint.
Thank you for checking out my post today, I hope it brough you some inspiration.
Have a wonderful day!
Katie
