Hi there,
It’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this underwater puzzle card.
Step 1: Die Cutting and Stamping
- die cut the Puzzle Heart Background from smooth white cardstock
- stamp the turtle and some bubbles from the Water Creatures set with alcohol-marker-friendly black ink
Step 2: Coloring
- color the images and the background with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
- ink up the edges with Distress Ink Black Soot
Step 3: Die Cutting
- die cut the Puzzle Heart
- die cut the word OCEAN using the letters from the Butterfly Pocket Insert die set
Step 4: Creating the Background
- ink up a rectangular piece of smooth white cardstock with Blending Brushes and Distress Oxide Ink (Dusty Concord, Peacock Feathers, Vintage Photo)
- add some splatters with watered-down Perfect Pearls (Cappuccino, Heirloom Gold)
Step 5: Assemble the Card
- adhere the background panel to a creme cardbase
- puzzle the piece into the frame
- add the letters as a sentiment
