Best Wishes Cards

November 23, 2023

Hello, my dear friends!!

Rajni Chawla, here from Timeless Creations. Today, I bring you 2 beautiful, bright, and cheerful Best Wishes cards to inspire you using Elizabeth Craft Designs floral dies. My hope for you is not only to inspire you with ECD floral dies but also that it bring you a little something more: happy vibes when you transform pieces of paper into impressive works of art for yourself or loved ones. Handmade paper flowers make just about any heart smile…and that- is the best gift of all! Isn’t it?

For the past few days, I really wanted to try my hands on a wooden background for my flowers. I was so sure that the bright colors of flowers would surely pop on the wooden background. I grabbed the new embossing folder and textured and inked a few papers. The result was so satisfying that once again could not resist and resulted in two cards for the day.

For the first card, I am focusing on Florals 5. I made some cuts on the edges of the petals to give the flower a different look. The foliage is from Floral Greenery-1 and Floral Foliage-1 . As usual, all the floral and foliage inking is done using Archival inks.

Here is the look of the card if viewed from the top. The sentiment Best Wishes comes from the Everyday Words 2 Die set and the label is cut using Layered Labels 1. The tiny mini filler flowers are from Floral Greenery 1.

Here is the second card for the day!! It’s a slimline card that I created using a Stitched Indented Rectangle Die set. Florals are created using Floral 26 and Florals 4. Foliage is from Floral 6.

Here is the look of the card if viewed from the top. The sentiment Best Wishes comes from the Everyday Words 2 Die set and the label is cut using Layered Labels 1. The tiny mini filler flowers are from Floral Greenery 1.

All the supplies used from Elizabeth Craft Designs are linked to the company’s website for easy access.

Hope you liked my projects. I‘m always happy to hear from you. It is a joy to read your comments and I’m grateful to you all. Thank you for spending your precious time here. For more inspiration, you can follow me on Facebook, InstagramYouTube, and, Pinterest.

Merry Christmas

November 3, 2023

Hello, lovely people!!

Have you all started prepping for the upcoming Christmas season? If not, I have this beautiful card to inspire you to get started. Elizabeth Craft Designs has beautiful Floral 24 for the easy and quick handmade Poinsettias.

To get started, I prepared a grungy looking embossed panel and layered an Stitched Indented Rectangle frame on the right edge of the card front. The basket made using Floral Foliage 1 was quick and easy to make.

The foliage from Floral 24 when cut in gold mirror cardstock added a real festive touch. The green foliage from the Pine Cones die set also enhanced the overall look of the floral bouquet.

The sentiment is stamped from the Seasonal Sentiment stamp set, using black archival ink on white cardstock and cut using a Layered Labels die set.

To add a little more seasonal touch I added lots of white tiny flowers from Floral Greenery 1. All the supplies used from Elizabeth Craft Designs are directly linked to the website for easy shopping.

Hope you liked my projects. I‘m always happy to hear from you. It is a joy to read your comments and I’m grateful to you all. Thank you for spending your precious time here. For more inspiration, you can follow me on Facebook, InstagramYouTube, and, Pinterest.

Bright Sunflower Wishes

October 19, 2023

Rajni Chawla Here!! Back again on Elizabeth Crafts Design blog to inspire you with beautiful bright and sunny Sunflowers from the latest Seasonal Classic Collection. This collection is outstanding and the florals and foliage have taken my heart away. I have been always a big fan of Sunflowers and these are completely exceptional. I have been playing with Floral 26 a lot these days. You can look for more inspiration on my Instagram page here.

For the backdrop, I have created a grungy textured background and prepared a white and gold window to display the handmade flowers. The window is created using the beautiful die from the Book Box die set and Stitched Indented Rectangle die set. The sentiment tag is prepared using the Everyday Elements die set and Layered Labels 1

I have mixed and matched the foliage from various die sets. Like Floral 25, Floral Greenery 1, and Pine Cones

To add more beauty to the bright sunflowers and to make them pop from the grungy background, I added a few daisies which I created using Floral 9

Hello, Autumn

September 21, 2023

Hello, my crafty friends

Rajni Chawla here from Timeless Creations. Today it’s my turn to inspire you all with Elizabeth Craft Designs’ latest, Seasonal Classics Collection. It is a collection full of awesomeness with lots of flowers, foliage, birdhouse, Christmas fun, and lots more. Again I have 2 cards to inspire you. I have mixed and matched 3 die sets to create these beautiful fall cards.

Here is my first card.

I don’t know why, but I am addicted to using some frame or the other and use it as a backdrop for most of all the floral bouquets that I make for my handmade cards. And I love them for sure. This time I used the Stitched Indented Rectangle die set to create the slimline frame to showcase this beautiful fall wreath on the card front. I simply joined two die cuts by overlapping them and hid that under the wreath which I created using a die cut from the Fitted Circle die Set.

The circle die cut is inked using Wild Honey Distress ink and the sentiment stamped is from Seasonal Sentiments. The foliage used is from Floral Greenery 1 and Floral Foliage 1. I have used archival inks to color all the leaves.

The beautiful Sunflowers are created using Floral 26 and the wreath is made using Floral Foliage 1.

The tiny white filler is from Floral Minis. Make a slit between flower petals, glue, and overlap one petal to make it 5 or 4 petal flowers as per your choice…… that’s simple!!

Here are some more pictures showing the detailing on the flower petals and foliage. It really made the flowers look more lively.

Here is my second card for inspiration….similar supplies were used but quite a different look. I loved this one too.

The background is distressed in ombre and embossed using an embossing folder. I have used the largest of the Stitched Indented Rectangles to create the window. The birdhouse and the bucket are created using Floral Foliage 1.

Sweet Hydrangeas

September 7, 2023

Hello, my sweet friends!!

Today I am showcasing another beautiful floral die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs. My card today is inspired by a card that I saw on Pinterest long long back. It was something I always wished to create but couldn’t try due to some reason or the other. Thanks to the ECD Florals 2 die set which enabled me to try my hands on these beautiful Hydrangeas. The foliage used is from the same die set.

Here is the top angle of the card.

Since, I wanted to highlight the florals, I kept the card base simple and easy. Once again, the Stitched Indented Rectangle die set was on rescue. I used the largest 2 dies to create the frame. The center window was created using a decorative die from the Book Box die set.

I wanted to add a little shine and glitter to the florals, so I applied a thin coat of crystal lacquer and sprinkled glitter dust.

Here are a few more close-up shots of the floral bouquet. The sentiment is stamped with blue archival ink and is from the With Love Sentiment stamp. Beautiful hand-cut butterflies adorn and complete the card.

If you like to learn how I created these Hydrangeas, drop by my Instagram and keep an eye on the free Live Tutorial for the same which I will be announcing soon.

Here is the complete list of supplies used in the above projects. All the supplies used from Elizabeth Crafts Designs are linked directly for easy purchases.

Step And Smell The Flowers

August 18, 2023

Hello, craft buddies,

Welcome to my blog. I am back again with another beautiful inspiration using Elizabeth Craft Design supplies. Today I am focussing mainly on the floral dies. I have 2 beautiful sunshine floral cards to share using Elizabeth Crafts Florals 10 and Floral 5.

I have created backgrounds matching to the florals. In both cards, I have added textures to the backgrounds by using embossing folders from my stash.

For my first card, I distress the panel in ombre in the tones of yellows to match my florals. Yellow flowers made using the Floral 10 die set and white daisies made using the Floral 5 die set are combined to create a beautiful floral bouquet for the card. The foliage used is made using Elegant Leaves die set. A frame is cut in white using Stitched Indented Rectangle die set.

Here are a few close-up shots of the floral bouquet. The sentiment is stamped with black using black archival ink and is from With Love Sentiment stamp set.

Here is my second card for the day!!

For this card, I kept the background panel white and embossed with 3 D embossing folder. The floral supplies are all the same as in the first card. To bring a little change, I have distressed the pannel in Ombre and nested Stitched Indented Rectangle die with Stitched Ovals die set to create a beautiful backdrop. The oval die cut was further embossed and framed with a white frame and the double layered, upside down as shown.

The sentiment Bloom comes from Smell the Flowers stamp set and sits beautifully on the tag from Book Box die set.

Hugs and Kisses Card and Bon Bon Boxes

August 4, 2023

Good day, my dear friends!!

Once again it”s Rajni Chawla, here to inspire you all with Elizabeth Craft Designs. For today’s inspiration, I have a beautiful card and 2 coordinating treat boxes. In my projects, I am showcasing a great variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs like Indented frame dies, floral dies, foliage dies and box dies.

The double-layered frame was cut using Stitched Indented Rectangle die set to display the floral bouquet which I created using Florals 5. The beautiful white daisies turned out so beautiful and elegant.

The foliage added in the backdrop was created using Elegant Leaves 1. The leaves were cut using floral paper, inked using Archival inks in shades of green, and shaped using a stylus.

For the flower centers, I have used locally bought tiny seed beads, using Glossy Accent.

The sentiment comes from With Love Sentiments stamp set. It was stamped on the banner which I cut using a banner die from Book Box die set. The pattern paper used is from my stash and the bird is fussy cut from the paper.

Now comes, the cute Bon Bon box that I coordinated with the cards. The Bon Bon Box Large die creates a beautiful easy to assemble box with a perfect size for treats. I loved it so much that I created 2 boxes. One for the cookies and the other for the sweets.

I decorated one box with the bow and the other box using a bow and the leftover daisies and hung tags threaded with some beads from the stash.

Supplies from Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • Florals 5
  • pattern Paper from my stash
  • Leaf Green, Olive Green, and Black Archival Inks
  • Dimensional Tape
  • Liquid Glue, Glossy Accent

For more details on the projects, I have created a small video. Here is the link to the video.

Birthday Card in a box with a coordinating Book Boxed Booklet

July 14, 2023

Hello, lovely friends!!

Rajni Chawla here, from Timeless Creations. I am super excited to be joining Elizabeth Craft Designs as a Brand Ambassador on their Floral Team. Handmade paper flowers have always been my reason to smile. I can spend hours and hours in my craft room to create paper flowers. It’s so much fun and relaxing to shape the paper into beautiful flowers and use them for my handmade cards and albums. I love creating layered cards and I see Elizabeth Crafts have some awesome dies to work on. I am excited to dig in and get started with my design team package that was sent by the company. Lots of floral and card inspirations coming your way in the coming months, for sure!!

Today, I am here on the Elizabeth Crafts Designs blog, showcasing my very first projects using Elizabeth Craft Designs supplies. Today, I have two projects to share. A beautiful floral card with a coordinating box and a Boxed booklet.

Project 1: BirthdayCard and its coordinating box

The ready-top fold card from smooth white cardstock measures 6″ by 7 1/2″. The card front is decorated using 3 panels cut using Stitched Indented Rectangles. I have used black and silver cardstock for the bottom and middle layers and patterned paper for the top layer. Extra dimensions are added using double-sided tape. The topmost panel is created using Stitched Ovals and pattern paper.

The beautiful paper flowers are created using Florals 14 and the green foliage is created using Elegant Leaves 1. The sentiment from With Love Sentiments stamp set is stamped in black on the banner cut from Book Box die set.

I coordinated the box using the same patterned paper and created a window using frames Stitched Indented Rectangle die. The sides of the box are decorated using a decorative die from Book Box die set. The threaded hearts made an easy lift to the card which I created using a heart die from Bon Bon Box Large die set. The decorative pink paper bow made using Bon Bon Box Large die made the box more presentable.

Project 2: Book Boxed Booklet

I love creating with a flow. I so wanted to try my hands on the beautiful Book box. Everything was out on my craft table so I decided to create this book box with my leftover flowers.

All the supplies used are the same as in my first project except the blue cardstock which really made a difference to my entire project when coordinated with silver cardstock.

Here is the complete list of supplies used in the above projects. All the supplies used from Elizabeth Crafts Designs are linked directly for easy purchases.

For more details on the projects, I have created small videos. The link to the videos are given below.
