Follow your dreams

August 7, 2023

Hello everyone, Jackie here today with this cute shaped shaker card. This new collection from Joset is absolutely fantastic, the shaker die set is so versatile and can also be used without adding shaker parts so it is a must have set! Anyway let get started.

Step One:

First we need to create the circular card part. place a medium sized circular die on top of a top folding A2 card blank ensuring to leave a tiny bit over hanging at the top crease. You may have to run this through a few times as it will be quite thick.

Step two:

Die cut a further two circles. Ink blend one circle with a selection of blue inks then attach one to the front and one to the back making the card base more sturdy.

Step three:

Next we need to create the shaker window. Die cut a handful of circular frames and glue them all together, I have glued 5 together however you can make this part bigger by adding more layers.

Step four:

Use the inside of the metal frame die to draw a circular shape on to a piece of acetate then cut this out. Glue the prepared circular frame to the acetate, die cut one more circle and glue this to the reverse side then set the aside to dry. Tip: I find a white gel pen just about works on the acetate.

Step five:

Die cut lots of shaker bits and carefully lay them on top of the card base then glue the prepared acetate part on top. Set aside to dry with some weight on top to keep in nice a flat.

Step six:

Make up the bee as normal with two exceptions. Cut two of the same leg as he is flying and you will only need to use two wings. Use a little ink blending to add some dimension then add some white gel pen dots to finish the look.

Step seven:

Next we need to add the base stand. Die cut four of the stand pieces and glue two together (these need to be study) Glue one to the front and one to the back ensuring they line up when the card is shut. Add a sentiment strip, I have white heat embossed onto black card and popped this up on 3d foam pads.

Step eight:

Finish of by adding a flower, I have chosen to only add one flower but you could add as many as you wish.

It made a lovely change to make a shaped card and these shaker dies make the job really easy, I love that there is a shaker bits die included in the set too . . Thank you for stopping by today ‘Happy crafting’ Jackie xx

Good day, my dear friends!!

Once again it”s Rajni Chawla, here to inspire you all with Elizabeth Craft Designs. For today’s inspiration, I have a beautiful card and 2 coordinating treat boxes. In my projects, I am showcasing a great variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs like Indented frame dies, floral dies, foliage dies and box dies.

The double-layered frame was cut using Stitched Indented Rectangle die set to display the floral bouquet which I created using Florals 5. The beautiful white daisies turned out so beautiful and elegant.

The foliage added in the backdrop was created using Elegant Leaves 1. The leaves were cut using floral paper, inked using Archival inks in shades of green, and shaped using a stylus.

For the flower centers, I have used locally bought tiny seed beads, using Glossy Accent.

The sentiment comes from With Love Sentiments stamp set. It was stamped on the banner which I cut using a banner die from Book Box die set. The pattern paper used is from my stash and the bird is fussy cut from the paper.

Now comes, the cute Bon Bon box that I coordinated with the cards. The Bon Bon Box Large die creates a beautiful easy to assemble box with a perfect size for treats. I loved it so much that I created 2 boxes. One for the cookies and the other for the sweets.

I decorated one box with the bow and the other box using a bow and the leftover daisies and hung tags threaded with some beads from the stash.

Supplies from Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • Florals 5
  • pattern Paper from my stash
  • Leaf Green, Olive Green, and Black Archival Inks
  • Dimensional Tape
  • Liquid Glue, Glossy Accent

For more details on the projects, I have created a small video. Here is the link to the video.

Hope you liked my projects. I‘m always happy to hear from you. It is a joy to read your comments and I’m grateful to you all. Thank you for spending your precious time here. For more inspiration, you can follow me on FacebookInstagramYoutube, and, Pinterest.

Buzzing to say ‘Hi!’

August 2, 2023

Hi everyone, here I am with a new blogpost. I guess that you all saw the new collection from Joset ‘Bugs and Butterflies. Today I share a Sidekick page with this collection. Because this collection is great for cards but also for planner pages for example if you don’t have a pictures.

Do you remember the honey Sidekick page. This is a perfect page in combination with the bee. I made the bee with the Pretty Pastels paperpad. The wings are made from vellum. Isn’t it a cutie?

I used Sidekick Essentials 4 and 13 for the base. The paper is from Reminiscene the Book 5 and 6. The edges are inked with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap.

I used the Number Reinforcer to do some stamping. I didn’t make a reinforcer of it, but as a decoration part behind the circle. This is a stamp from the Bugs and Kisses set.

I used the 2 biggest circles from Sidekick Essentials 4 to decorate the page. I adhere only the top part from the smalles circle so I can put something behind later. I also found a label from one of the books.

I made a cute ticket with the sentiment ‘Buzzing by to say ‘HI!’. I also stamped some part of the clover at the ticket and did some coloring. I adhere this ticket a little bit under the smallest circle.

At least I adhere the bee and put some leaves under the circle and ticket. I think the green is perfect for this page. And ofcourse I adhere some reinforcements.

Thank you all for visiting and reading! See you next time!

Kind regards Lisanne Geerdink

Get well soon garland

July 27, 2023

My best friend is in the hospital and the least I can do is send a card, right? But a garland is more fun and hopefully it will put a smile on her face. It is always difficult to photograph a garland so I put them in a circle.

This time I used the Small Doilies from Annette Green as a base, on which I glued a circle from the same set with a letter from the alphabet from Esther Glass.

I attached the flags with a tab from the pocket pages fillers for the sidekick.

Everything got a layer of tea dye distress ink and then a black edge.

It is always quite a bit of work to make such a garland, but it is also very fun to do and it makes everyone happy.

Look at this cutie, Joset’s ladybug with a blue jacket on, I absolutely love it!

I halved the doilies and gave them all a layer of distress ink, I used tea dye. Then they got an edge of black ink, I also edited the letters and the tabs. All flags are attached to the string with the tab.

I hope my girlfriend is better soon and that she can just give this pendulum a place at home.

Thanks again for your visit,

Love,

Marjolijn.

Bugs And Kisses

July 25, 2023

Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Joset Designs has a new Bugs and Butterflies Release. At the moment it can only be purchased at Local Craft Stores. It will be available online at the Elizabeth Craft Designs Website soon. I used the Ladybug dies and the new sentiments.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 4 1/2″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″ and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Ink Blend Inks of your choice. I used 4 colors. Pink, Yellow, Teal and Purple creating new colors in between blends. If the inks are water reactive spray some water and remove the excess using a paper towel.

Step 3 – Diecut Stitched Rectangles to the panel created in Step 2. Adhere to card front using Foam Tape.

Step 4 – Stamp sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Diecut it with the Fitted Fishtails. Adhere to card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 5 – Diecut Ladybug in various colors of Cardstock. Assemble and adhere to card using Kid’s Choice Glue.

The new release will be in the ECD Website soon. Once it is on the ECD Website I will update the Products below. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Love this

July 19, 2023

Hi everyone,

I’m here for you today with a new blogpost. Today it is a sweet card with an ice cream. I will lead you step by step through this card.

I started with two tags from the Nested Tags dies. At the top I made a scoreline and adhere that small part together. You can see that line at the top. But you can still open it.

As base I used a piece of designpaper (Bellrose Pink) from 22 X 14 cm. I also cut a piece kraft cardstock from 22,5 x 14,5 cm. I also cut a piece designpaper from 5 x 16 cm and made a scoreline at 0,9 and 15,1 cm.

Now we adhere the 2 parts designpaper together. But you only adhere the small 0,9 cm and the back. So this piece is open to put things behind.

I cut out a piece of the designpaper and adhere this at the background. As you can see I also adhere the designpaper at the kraft.

I made a small cluster to add on the pink strip. All these elements are from the same paperpad.

Now it’s time to decorate the tags I made in the beginning. I cut a tag and numberstrip from the paperpad. I did some stamping at tickets and tabs and made a girl (the witch dies) with an ice cream. I used the donut from the Foodtruck Accessoires as reinforcer.

Adhere this at the front of the tag.

For the inside I cut out again a piece of the paperpad but also did some stamping with the good food good mood stamp. I made an bigger ice cream and ticket.

I also did some stamping and coloured 2 of them with a glitter pen.

Now I can slide one part of the tag under the stripe and one part above. You can unfold a part or you can take it all out.

Well I hope you enjoyed this project. I did when I was making. Thankyou for visiting and see you soon!

Kind regards

Lisanne Geerdink

Birthday Card in a box with a coordinating Book Boxed Booklet

July 14, 2023

Hello, lovely friends!!

Rajni Chawla here, from Timeless Creations. I am super excited to be joining Elizabeth Craft Designs as a Brand Ambassador on their Floral Team. Handmade paper flowers have always been my reason to smile. I can spend hours and hours in my craft room to create paper flowers. It’s so much fun and relaxing to shape the paper into beautiful flowers and use them for my handmade cards and albums. I love creating layered cards and I see Elizabeth Crafts have some awesome dies to work on. I am excited to dig in and get started with my design team package that was sent by the company. Lots of floral and card inspirations coming your way in the coming months, for sure!!

Today, I am here on the Elizabeth Crafts Designs blog, showcasing my very first projects using Elizabeth Craft Designs supplies. Today, I have two projects to share. A beautiful floral card with a coordinating box and a Boxed booklet.

Project 1: BirthdayCard and its coordinating box

The ready-top fold card from smooth white cardstock measures 6″ by 7 1/2″. The card front is decorated using 3 panels cut using Stitched Indented Rectangles. I have used black and silver cardstock for the bottom and middle layers and patterned paper for the top layer. Extra dimensions are added using double-sided tape. The topmost panel is created using Stitched Ovals and pattern paper.

The beautiful paper flowers are created using Florals 14 and the green foliage is created using Elegant Leaves 1. The sentiment from With Love Sentiments stamp set is stamped in black on the banner cut from Book Box die set.

I coordinated the box using the same patterned paper and created a window using frames Stitched Indented Rectangle die. The sides of the box are decorated using a decorative die from Book Box die set. The threaded hearts made an easy lift to the card which I created using a heart die from Bon Bon Box Large die set. The decorative pink paper bow made using Bon Bon Box Large die made the box more presentable.

Project 2: Book Boxed Booklet

I love creating with a flow. I so wanted to try my hands on the beautiful Book box. Everything was out on my craft table so I decided to create this book box with my leftover flowers.

All the supplies used are the same as in my first project except the blue cardstock which really made a difference to my entire project when coordinated with silver cardstock.

Here is the complete list of supplies used in the above projects. All the supplies used from Elizabeth Crafts Designs are linked directly for easy purchases.

For more details on the projects, I have created small videos. The link to the videos are given below.

Sunflower’s are natures smile- Planner Pages

July 7, 2023

Hi everyone, Katie here with todays blog post! I seem to be on a Bee theme right now so I might as well keep it going! This time, I am bringing you a Sunflower Planner Page perfect for some of your garden pictures. So grab a coffee and I will walk you through how I created these pictures.

Step 1: You will want to cut out your right and left base page using Planner Essentials #39-Torn Paper. I used the G45 “Let it Bee” Paper. Next, I cut two rectangular mats, cut yours to fit your picture leaving a bit of an edge.

Step 2: Using the Washi Tape Reminiscence Tape #1 I ripped strips and placed it down on my page like above. I used the Washi tape on both pages.

Step 3: Cut some Honeycomb from the Art Journal collection die Honeycomb Dots #1849 and rip it up so its into pieces.

Step 4: I added some fussy cut sunflowers, flowers and leaves from the collection, and my Garden Word from the Seed packet collection. (I used a lot of foam dots, see picture below)

Step 5: On the second page you will want to continue adding a photo mat, washi tape, G45 card, fussy cut sunflowers and Honeycomb. You will notice on both pages some black string like fiber, its colored sisal.. I like to add a little texture on my pages to keep it natural.

Step 6: Ink some of your edges and add your reinforcement rings.

Step 7: My last step is to always speckly with heavy body white paint.

I hope today brought you some inspiration to add your pictures from your garden into your planners.

Have a wonderful day >Katie<
