Shaker cards

April 26, 2023

Hello all,

Esther’s new collection has become super fun again, really a party to work with. This time I would like to show you 2 shaker cards. The new set from Ester contains a super nice yarn card, which I used as a basis. The paper is from my own collection. I did use some stamps here and there to give it some extra detail.

Isn’t she cute, that nice girl sitting here doing crafts. it reminds me so much of my own daughters. Beautiful memories of when they were little.

For the 2nd card I also used a lamp from the latest Art-journal collection, it’s that nice too!

Die cut 2 yarn cards from design paper of your choice and reinforcements, I used the various circles but you can of course use what you like. Make an opening in a card with the rectangular die from the set.

I stick strips of double-sided foam tape on black cardstock and then I punched out another yarn card with an opening in the middle, just like the card made of design paper.

You stick a piece of acetate on it, I just used the plastic from the packaging, that works fine. In the shaker you put some nice shaking material of your choice. Stick the card with the hole in it over the acetate, the other card on the back. If you also want to stamp on the inside, as with card 2, do that before sticking it on. Dress up your card with some nice details such as a twig or an extra stamp. Put a string through the hole and your tag or card is ready. Nice with a gift or just to send just like that.

Also very nice in your own planner of course. ðŸ˜‹

See next time!

With love,

Marjolijn.

Bee Tag Planner Page-By Katie Porcina

April 20, 2023

Hi everyone, Katie here with todays post. I wanted to create a small planner insert using Annette Greens New Everyday Elements Collection. So grab a coffee or your favorite beverage and lets get started.

Step 1: Start with cutting your bee from your favorite card stock, I did use a matching pattern paper (From the same line as the base page) for the wings. Cut your postcard mats from green and black card stock. Last cut your honeycomb from yellow matching designer paper. Ink all your edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Step 2: Cut your base page from your choice of designer paper (I used 49 & Market), Ink the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Next stamp your image from the Honeybee Stamp set at the top of your page as per picture above. Stamp the quote Daily Happiness from Happy stamp set onto white paper, trim your quote to say Happiness and ink the edges.

Step 3: Start with ripping your honeycomb in half placing it where you want it, next add your photo postcard mats. Place the “Happiness” tag under your mat then your black reinforcements. Place some sisal and pop-dot your Bee. Last step speckle with white paint.

Thank you for joining me with todays blog post, hope it brought you some inspiration. Happy creating!!

Dashboard page February

April 19, 2023

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all oke and ready for some new inspiration. Today I share my dashboard page for February. Yes, I know I’m a little bit behind haha. But it’s oke I will work that out.

So I started with the Planner Essentials 2 dies, paper from Reminiscene the book 5, a planner stencil and some wax. I made a shimmer background with the wax and stencil and I like it.

After that I made a little lay out with the tag and hearts. The hearts are from Planner Essentials 57 heart overlay. Also the yellow hearts are from this dies.

At the left corner I added some cut outs from the book 5. I also added the month ‘ February’.

At least I made the cow with Soft Finisch Cardstock en Distress Ink. I think the cow is a cute one! Oh and ofcourse I adhere the reinforcements.

I hope you enjoy this post and got some new ideas. Thankyou for visiting.

Kind regards Lisanne

Hoera

April 5, 2023

Hii everyone, I’m back with a new blogpost for you. Today I share this birthday tag. It is for someone who turns 80.

First I started with the biggest tag from the Nested Tags in combination with the Reminiscene the Book 5. At the background I did some stamping with the ticket stamp.

For the pocket I used a dies from the Art Journal Special ‘Journal file 1’ and the small tag who fits in it. I also made a smaller tag with the Nested Tags. I did some stamping with the Dutch sentiment stamps from Esther, which said Hooray it is today, birthday. Oh and I also stamped with a reinforcement stamp.

I also did some stamping at the pocket with the stamps from Devid’s realease. A great combination I think.

At least I put the date of birth at te tag and add a reinforcement.

Thankyou for visiting and see you soon.

Kind regards Lisanne Geerdink

Stuff that matters

March 27, 2023

Hello everyone, Marjolijn here. For today’s blog post I made this box to store my tickets in. Just a cozy box on the table where I can grab a ticket if I need it. For the box I used the book box. Let me explain to you how I created this box.

I decorated this Book box with jute and incorporated an embroidery ring in which I incorporated a shaker. The sweet girl would also like to be a fairy but lacks the wings. That’s why she’s standing on a twig.

The box contains all sorts of treasures like tickets and other nice little things to process in my planners.

I made the shaker with the fuse from “we’r memerykeepers”. I cut 2 circles from a plastic cover with a round die slightly larger than the die from the craft lover set. I put the picture of the fairy in between and put some shaking material on it. Then I put the ring on it from the craftlover set and welded the circle closed with the fuse.

This way you can easily make a flat shaker without tape or foam and nothing will fall out. Doesn’t it look pretty?!

I hope my project today gave you some inspiration to make your own keep sake memory box using the beautiful Book box die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I had so much fun creating mine and I love storing all sort of little things that I want keep in it.

Thank you for your visit!

With love,

Marjolijn.

Documenting Arizona

March 22, 2023

Karen here sharing a couple Planner Essentials pages from a recent trip my guy and I made with his dog on a road trip to Arizona. We got to see amazing fun sights like the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Winslow Arizona (where we stood on a corner). I created a couple pages – one for my Places I’ve Been album and another for Sadie’s album!

The page base for this first page (for Sadie’s album) is from Planner Essentials 39 and is Bellrose Pink paper. I also used some orange and pink from the Reminiscence Book 2 for highlights. The square elements, camera, and the flag are from the 39 set. I also added some letters using the Alphabet Tabs set. The hearts are in the Winter Bird set.

On the back, I used the Winter Bird as an element. It was SO cold on this trip that we even had to put Sadie on her leash.

This page is for my Places I’ve Been album and uses Planner Essentials 6 along with the Alphabet Tabs and dies from the File Folder Set 1. I used that fun picture in Sedona again, but this album is mine….and Sadie’s album is at my guy’s house 🙂 The stamp is from Destination Phrases.

On the back are more elements from the File Folder 1 set. The stamps are from the Moods set. Of course no page is complete without reinforcements from the variety packs.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Craftily yours, Karen

How lucky I am! By Katie Porcina

March 10, 2023

Hi everyone, Katie here with todays blog post! and today we are creating a fun St. Patrick’s Day Planner page set. Nothing says luck than a rainbow, lucky clover and a pot of gold. So grab a hot beverage or a green beer and lets get started.

Step 2: Out of the Curved Library Pocket, cut out the word Lucky from black and green cardstock, assemble and set aside.

Step 3: Out of Sidekick Essentials 19 cut two base pages and two mats, ink your edges and attach your photo mats.

Step 4: I used a Lawn Fawn die for my rainbow and cut from coordinating cardstock and assembled.

Step 4: I attached my Lucky word and pop-dotted my clover. Next, I pop-dotted my rainbow and gnome!

Step 5: attach your pot of gold and adhere your gold coins, pop-dot both of my clovers!

Planted with love

March 3, 2023

Hi all, it is Lisanne here with a new sidekick page. This time it is in the pink colours with the beautiful Bellrose pink paperpack. It is a page who you can make very fast, but I still like the result.

First a base page with the wave pocket on top of it. If you adhere everything as a pocket you can put many things in there. In the last pocket I put a sentiment strip in it. Great set to put in there. I also add some cute paperclips from Sidekick Essentials 14.

In the smallest pocket I put a small file folder from Sidekick Essentials 14 and also a small plant from the scallop insert. In combination with the cute girl it is a cute part of the page.

Only the reinforcers at the page and everything is ready.

I hope you like the post! See you next time.

Kind regards Lisanne Geerdink

Birthday card

February 28, 2023

Hello fellow E.C.D. craft lovers, Marjolijn here. This is my post for the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.

I want to show you some birthday folders! In February I have quite a few birthdays in my family and circle of friends, so I really had to get to work! Because there are a lot of them I wanted to keep it a bit simple but nice and cheerful.

I made this 2 times but with a different background paper.

I made the base with the file folder and decorated it with nice tickets and stamps from Esther’s latest collection.

It’s so much fun to play with the stamps and the tickets. There is even a super nice set with typical Dutch stamps for enthusiasts!

When I had these cards ready I dropped my phone, it contains my photos of the making process so unfortunately I can’t show them. Fortunately I have a spare phone that Theo, my dear, has completely fixed for me and I can now do a lot again. Where would we be without our cell phones nowadays.

The map is not that difficult so you will probably figure it out.

The stamps on the tickets come from all kinds of sets from ECD and it takes a while to see if it fits and where you want them, sometimes I tape off a piece of a stamp so that I can still use them.

For example, at the tab that says “amazing day”. Just do what you like and it will always work out.

A post with some hiccups this time but I did it.

Thank you for your visit

With love,

Marjolijn.

My heart belongs to you! by Katie Porcina

February 24, 2023

Hi everyone, Katie here with todays blog post. This year my husband and I are celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary, and with the prompt being “love” for the month of February I wanted to create this heartfelt creation for my planner essentials album. So grab a coffee and I will walk you through how I created these pages!

Step 1: Out of the worn wood paper cut your large heart, and cut your small heart from your choice of designer paper I used an older 49 & Market collection. Next, I cut out some white branches from blooming branches. I cut out two mats and added my ephemera and accessories.

Step 2: Cut two base pages from planner essentials 1 from your choice of designer paper, next I cut my polaroid photo mat from planner essentials 3 & 4 and tags from the worn wood designer paper. Cut out your quote “Enjoy this moment” from planner essentials 8.

Step 3: Creating your small heart pocket, first take your large heart stitched die and cut from clear acetate, next cut your small heart from your designer paper and attach. You will want to add your holes and line it up to the match the holes on your planner base page.

I attached the pocket leaving the top open to add my tags. Last assemble your pages as per the picture above adding your ephemera, branches, quotes, flowers, photo mats, date and enforcement rings on both pages.

I hope todays post brought you some inspiration to create your own anniversary or special moment pages.

Have a wonderful day and happy creating, >Katie<
