Hi, It’s Kelly Booth here today with a simple and fun pop-up card using stamps by Krista Schneider and some fun ECD dies!
Hi everyone! It’s Elena today. Fall is almost upon us so I wanted to try creating a brightly-colored fall card using the very intricate Flower Lace Frame from ModaScrap. I have added colored paper behind these kinds of dies before but never with hand shading coloring and I wanted to see what would happen. The result reminds me of Talavera or Majolica pottery with the bright colors, spacing between motifs and the overall pattern. What do you think? Here’s how I made the card:
Let´s Ketchup Masculine Card Idea
September 9, 2018Hello everyone, it´s Sanna Lippert here and it´s time for my September guest blog post tutorial. I created a fun and easy-to-do masculine card using the Backyard Barbeque die cut set and plenty of Soft Finish Cardstock for this month’s card.
Summery Sand Castle Pop-Up Card
August 9, 2018Hi, it’s Elena today. Is it just me or are the days flying by this summer? Christmas card making time is creeping up on me, but I wanted to take a moment to celebrate summer before it’s over with a pop-up card featuring the Sand Castle die set from Joset van de Burgt. The set is so cute, and believe it or not this pop-up card is easy to put together and doesn’t take that long to make. Here’s how I created it:
Hello! It’s Elena today with a Fun in the Sun Shaker Card. I was able to capture (I hope) the essence of summer with a bright color palette of turquoise, yellow, orange, red and white along with great stamped images from the Sun & Surf clear stamp set. Although it is a “happy summer” card, you could easily adapt it as a birthday card, especially for a teen or a guy who likes to surf.
Easy Watercolor Cactus Card
June 11, 2018Hi! It’s Elena today and I have been wanting to use the Cacti Clear Stamps from Krista Schneider for a while now. Cactus and succulent-themed cards seem to be very popular these days and Krista’s stamp set is so cute that I had to jump in and make my own version. I used two different easy watercolor techniques with a bit of die cutting and of course – glitter!! Here’s how I made the card:
Fun Times Mixed Media Layout
June 10, 2018Hello there, it´s Sanna here again with another guest design team post. Today I´d like to share a mixed media style scrapbook layout with you for a change. I´ve also created a clean and simple card with some of the residue just for fun and will show that at the end of this post. Hope you enjoy today´s inspiration!
Hi everyone, it’s Sandy Diller here with you today and I’m sharing a trinket box that I made to hold some treasures in my craft room. This box is much more fun than a simple bag or envelope to hold small items that I have cleaned up from my work table while working on a project. I have been wanting to make some of Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s flowers and this was the perfect time. It was fun and simple to make – so let’s get started.
