Hello everybody!
Emmy here today with my monthly inspiration post. This month I decided to work with the wonderful dies from Susan’s Garden. The flowers you can make with these dies look really amazing!
Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to create this card:
Step 1: Cut a 6 x 12″ panel out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Score and fold in half to form the card base. Using the Stitched Squares die set (the largest in the set) cut another panel out of White Soft Finish Cardstock, ink its edges with blue ink, sprinkle blue mist on top and adhere it on top of the card base using foam tape.
Step 2: Die cut the basket, the greenery and the flowers using Susan’s Garden dies and Soft Finish cardstock. To give the basket a rustic look-and-feel smudge brown ink on top of the die cut shape using your fingers.
Step 3: Using Liquid Pearls add ‘berries’ to the leafy branch.
Step 4: Crumple the die cut flowers with your fingers and assemble the flower as shown. Use three large light pink die cut and four smaller dark blue die cuts per blossom. Once all the layers are adhered together, add a little bit of blue to the petals.
Step 5: Using the leaf tool draw the pattern on the leaves, ink their edges and adhere them as shown using mounting foam tape.
Step 6: To finish off the design die cut the word for the sentiment and add yellowish rhinestones.
